Epilepsy petition

Hello f'list!

I would like to ask a cheeky favour of you! The government is trying to bring in cheaper, generic drugs for epilepsy - as an epilepsy sufferer myself I know that this is a recipe for disaster. I take 3 different drugs and if they change all 3 to cheaper version, god help me! With this in mind I'd be forever grateful if you could take

My pleasure! As you say further down, they may just fob us off but we need to make our voices heard. I can think of a load of things the Govt can and should cut back on, but medication and other health-related issues isn't one of them.

I'll sign! But I just got a reply for another number 10 petition I signed asking for more support for Bletchley Park and they basically fobbed us off with a load of crap. We have to try and be heard, though, right?

Thank you!!! You're right - they do fob you off on most of these issues, even if there are huge numbers of signatures, but don't ask don't get - that's what I always say.

I don't think that I can since I'm not British, but it's definitely something that's needed if you ask me. Lord knows that medication always costs a ton.

That's ok - thanks for reading. Epileptics get their medication for free over here, luckily, or I'd be bankrupt! LOL!

From what I can gather they are intending to move to cheaper, generic drugs for all conditions, but the epilepsy groups are up in arms that epilepsy drugs are being included in this. It makes you wonder what effect it will have on other conditions too...?
