We went to Pine Nook Daylilies today and picked out five daylily plants to fill in our side garden. We were looking for daylilies to complement what we already had there, which were yellow. They all came with fanciful names, like Canadian Border Patrol, South Seas, and River Road Lady. I had also split up some of the Siberian Iris clusters there

I haven't planted any vegetables this year. Last year was a multiple bust so I am not even bothering. I will try to get stuff from the local farmers market. We fight with deer and rabbits so I need a good fence and the one I had last year was hard to open and close, so I never did. Sigh. I do have some lettuce seeds I might try in pots. I have been planting flower seeds where I had veggies last year. So far I think I mostly have weeds. Who knows. I green thumb I don't seem to have.
