The River Rat: Six Miles of Mayhem on the Millers River

Take around 300 canoes. Line them up in front of a bridge on a river in a run-down factory town in a forgotten corner of Massachusetts.

Sounds like something me and the missus would enjoy! :-)

Okay, I had to smile over that one.

Find out how many of those paddlers are poets! There has to be a poem or two about such an event.

Have your entourage take lots of photos, too. Include the pre-race shot when you are still dry.

I'm sure there will be photos. We might take some on Friday, too. We're thinking of paddling the course before the post draw. For my observations about the post draw two years ago, see this post.
