daetothebak! I'm so sorry! It's a utter fail! T^T Utter fail!crack and fluff. My first 2Jun. And yes, go ahead and stone me now.
Doojoon sometimes wondered, is it true that jocks have a lack of brain? Cause right now, he felt that the phrase is true.
He stared at the report card in his hand, frowning at the horrible marks he had for his examinations. It's not possible, he studied for the exams! Okay, maybe not. What do you expect? He's a soccer player, he's not a geek who likes being cooped up in his room studying all day long. He sighed as his forehead met the tabletop, eyes closed as he wept mentally.
'Umma is going to kill me.'
His eyes fluttered open when he felt a warm hand on his shoulder, glancing up, he noticed his best friend standing there, an eyebrow quirked up in a questioning expression. He sighed once again, holding up his report card for the male. The male gave the results a quick glance through, eyes widening at the scores before going back to its usual blankness.
"Doojoon-ah, seriously? You failed? How could you fail? You told me you had studied very hard."
Hyunseung stated in his usual calm tone, emphasizing on the word 'very'. Unlike the jock, he passed his examinations with flying colors. Sometimes, the boy couldn't understand how he became friends with an idiot. All the older boy had in his head was soccer, food, soccer, sleep, more soccer and more sleep. That's all. That's freaking all. Despite the calm personality he had, even he would get pissed with Doojoon's empty-headedness.
"I did studied!"
"Are you sure?"
"......Okay, fine. I didn't."
Doojoon pouted, slumping against his chair. Hyunseung rolled his eyes, putting down the hideous report card on the table. The older male merely stared at the card, shaking his head as he sighed in defeat.
"I'm so dead. Somebody kill me before my mother kill me."
Doojoon glanced around his house, unlocking the door as quietly as possible, hoping that somehow, just somehow, his mother would not be at home and he would not have to die so fast. Unfortunately for him, the gods up in the sky loved to torture him and they had decided that "Hey! Today shall be 'Torture Yoon Doojoon day'!". And thus, the moment Doojoon stepped into the hallway, trying to sneak up to his room, his mother's voice came ringing from the kitchen.
"Doojoonie? Is that you?"
Holy shit oh my god! Doojoon crumbled against the wall, facepalming himself. Left with no choice, he put on a smile and walked into the kitchen, hoping that she would not ask about the dreaded report card. But nooo, the gods hate him, remember?
"Doojoonie, how are your exams?"
Great lord. He fidgeted slightly, his gaze fixed onto the floor as he refused to look at his mother.
"I erm... I..."
He took out his report card, handing it over to his mother. His mother stared at the report card, her reaction exactly the same as Hyunseung, except that it was more responsive. Her grip tightened on the card, her face turning an angry shade of red as she shouted.
"Yoon Doojoon! What is with this kind of grades?!"
The boy flinched, backing away quickly from his angry mother only to have her moving forward, grabbing hold of his ear in a painful pinch, causing him to howl.
"Ummaaaa! It hurts!"
"You bet it hurts! How dare you return home with that kind of grades?! I don't care how, but you better do well for the make-up exams, or I'll kick you out of the house! Or worse, I'll make sure you're grounded from playing soccer. Forever."
Doojoon gulped, nodding his head so fast he thought his head could drop off. His mother smirked in victory, releasing his burning red ear and turned around, continuing to cook dinner as though nothing had happened. Doojoon immediately bolted for the staircase, running up to his room like a puppy with its tail between its legs. He dropped onto his bed, grimacing at the pain from his ear. He stretched out an arm, grabbing hold of his phone, dialing a familiar number that he memorized by heart. It rang four times, before it was picked up by a monotonous voice.
"Yes?"
"Hyunseung-ah! Help me! Please, I beg you! Get me a tutor! I don't care who! Just save meee!"
Hyunseung blinked from the other end of the line, slightly stunned at the jock being all whiny like a....girl. His lips drew back into a lazy smirk before he replied coolly.
"Sure. But you have to treat me for lunch."
"But you eat like a pig!"
"You want your tutor, or not?"
"Fine."
Doojoon sulked on his bed, there goes his money for the week. Manipulative bastard he have as a friend. Hyunseung grinned to himself, a flash of happiness could be seen in those usually emotionless eyes of his.
"Deal. Meet me tomorrow at the usual spot, I'll get you a tutor straight away."
Hyunseung hang up, leaving a pitiful Doojoon to the hands of his mother. Meanwhile, somewhere up there in the clouds, a group of men are discussing about Doojoon's fate and because they decided to continue torturing the jock, so well, the torture continues.
Doojoon woke up to the sun shining, the light blinding his face the moment he opened his eyes. He blinked rapidly, rubbing the sleep out of them as he stumbled out of bed, making his way to the bathroom. Staring at the watch on his wrist, he gasped at the time, great lord! He's meeting Hyunseung and his tutor at 11am, and now is already 10.30am! The heavens are trying to mess with him, aren't they? And the answer is yes. He washed up quickly, changing into more appropriate clothes and grabbed his bag, dashing down the staircase and out the door, ignoring the shouts of his mother's voice.
He ran all the way to their usual spot, a quiet cafe two streets away. He panted as he saw the boy he was looking for, sitting elegantly on the chair with his legs crossed, reading another of his thick books silently. He walked up to Hyunseung, glancing at the time. Just on time. He plopped onto the chair, only to have Hyunseung staring at him as though he's an alien.
"What?"
"You're on time. That's a miracle."
Doojoon frowned, leaning back against the chair as he muttered rude curses at the indifferent boy. He was half-way through the curses when Hyunseung tapped his shoulder, staring straight ahead, his eyes somewhere opposite the road.
"Your tutor is here."
Doojoon looked up, trying to catch a glimpse of his so-called tutor until he realized the person was...
"You asked Junhyung to be my tutor?!"
Doojoon hissed, panicking at the fact that the man he secretly admired is going to be his tutor. The gods seriously hate him, don't they? Hyunseung smiled lightly, fingers drumming against the table as he shrugged, humor flicking across his brown orbs.
"Well. You like him, but you don't want to talk to him. So I might as well help you, hm? Be thankful, Doojoon-ah. And don't forget, you own me lunch."
Doojoon glared at Hyunseung, and if looks can kill, Hyunseung would be six feet under by now but hey, a guy like him is resistant to dagger glares. So instead, Doojoon changed his method to cursing Hyunseung to hell and back, of course, in his heart. He doesn't want Hyunseung to bitchslap him yet.
All he could do was swallowed his saliva as Junhyung strolled up to them, smiling at Hyunseung before turning to Doojoon. He glanced at Doojoon, keeping quietly for a while before giving him a smile, and returned his attention back to Hyunseung.
"Seung-ah, he's the guy I need to tutor?"
"Yup. Doojoon, Junhyung. Junhyung, Doojoon."
Doojoon only held out a hand shakily, exchanging brief greetings with the boy, AKA his tutor. And the word is HIS. Hyunseung watched with a smug look, before he wiped it off quickly and spoke once again.
"Okay, greetings are done. Now, Jun, you can bring Doojoon to your house for tutoring."
Doojoon blinked. And blinked again, slower this time. And then blinked a third time. Before the damn words actually got registered in his mind. He gave Hyunseung a look filled with disbelief, as though trying to scream at him mentally 'What the fuck are you doing you bastard?!?!'. Blank eyes met furious black hues, and all the pretty boy ever did was to shrug.
"Cafe isn't a good place to study, ya know? Now go." Before I stab you with my fork.
Well, the last part was left out though. Junhyung nodded, waiting patiently for Doojoon to follow him. Doojoon knew that tone of Hyunseung any day, the tone that says 'Die bitch die!!' when someone called him pretty. And for the safety of his life, and his balls, he doesn't want to mess around with an angry Hyunseung. He stood up, walking after the younger boy as his mind was in a daze. Hyunseung chuckled to himself, watching the two walking down the street.
'Mission accomplished.'
The two had a very awkward walk to Junhyung's house, neither of them spoke to each other, even if they did, it disappeared somewhere between their throats and their mouths. Doojoon let out a sigh of relief as they had finally reached, even though his heart was thumping so loudly in his chest that he is actually going into Junhyung's house. Yong Junhyung's house. In his head, mini!Doojoon is going 'Oh my god oh my god! It's his house! Gyahhhh~~~' but no one knew that fact since his face is calm. Stoned even. Junhyung unlocked the door, and the two stepped into the living room. The first thing Doojoon noticed was another boy lying on the couch, watching television boredly. He glanced at Junhyung, and Junhyung understood the meaning.
"Oh. This is Dongwoon, Doojoon. He's my cousin and he's living with me."
Dongwoon turned his gaze over to Doojoon, a small smirk forming on his face before it vanished, becoming a bright smile instead.
"Hi, nice to meet you."
Doojoon smiled back at the younger boy, he didn't know Junhyung have a cousin... Oh well, another information gained. Junhyung started to move towards to kitchen, his voice ringing around the four walls.
"I'll get you some drinks, you can wait for me in my room. Second door on the left!"
Doojoon nodded, walking towards the room and twisted the knob, opening the room. It seemed pretty normal, wait what, okay, changed his mind, not normal at ALL! Junhyung came after him with a tray of drinks, his face flushed red as he watched Doojoon burst into a laughter fit.
"It's.. It's not funny! Stop laughing, damn it!"
"But but! Come on! Pokemon?!"
The room was filled with Pokemon plushies, a dozen Pikachus on the bed, a few Pichus on the floor and damn, even the rug is Pokemon! Junhyung blushed a darker shade of red, grabbing hold of Doojoon and dragged him out of the room and into the living room, grumbling under his breathe about idiots with their non-existent brain.
"We'll study in the living room then. Dongwoon-ah, go to your room, we'll be using the living room."
"But hyung..!"
"No buts. Go."
Dongwoon frowned, getting up from the couch and reluctantly went to his room, leaving the two older males alone in the living room. Things were going just fine, Junhyung teaching Doojoon everything that he isn't sure about. Junhyung was smart, as smart as Hyunseung or maybe even smarter, but Hyunseung doesn't have to know that, yeah? Doojoon couldn't helped but to notice every detail on the younger male. Alluring dark eyes, pale skin, pouty lips, long fingers on his own... WAIT. Their fingers were touching each other as Junhyung leaned over the table, pointing out the mistake that Doojoon had made but non of his words were registered in his mind. All his mind could do was scream at the loudest pitch it could, 'His fingers are on yours!! Oh my god oh my god!! Aren't you a lucky man?!' while mini!Doojoon does somersaults in his head.
"Doojoon? Are you listening?"
Junhyung stared at the unblinking man, before noticing the gaze were on their fingers. He pulled away his fingers, a light pink blush dusting his cheeks as he mumbled softly.
"O-oh.. Sorry, my bad. I didn't noticed..."
"No no! It's okay! I don't mind!"
"H-huh?"
The two males stared at each other, stuck in an awkward situation. It wasn't long until Doojoon's sanity went flying out of the window, he pulled Junhyung closer to him, their lips meeting in a soft kiss. It ended as quickly as it started, with Doojoon staring wide-eyed at his bold action and Junhyung touching his lips in shock.
"Did you just...?"
"I...think I did."
"Okay... That was awkward. Don't tell me that you actually like me or something."
"How did you know?"
Junhyung raised an eyebrow, giving Doojoon a 'are you serious' kind of look.
"I... I think I should go. Sorry about that.."
Doojoon stood up, grabbing his books and was about to move out when a rough hand grabbed onto his wrist. Junhyung was standing as well, his eyes avoiding Doojoon but he was pulling Doojoon back.
"I didn't say that I didn't like you.."
So thanks to the meddling gods up in the sky above, and a sneaky Hyunseung pushing them together, the two who had a crush on each other finally are together. The books scattered across the floor as they stopped studying, just wasting time cuddling against the couch, fingers entwined together as their lips met in sweet kisses, free hands caressing each other's heated skin. That is, until...
"Hyung!! No making out in the living room for god sake!!"
A.N. I think I puked when I re-read that. Yes, go ahead and stone me now cause I know that sucks. >>
