Stopping by to add that I SO want to see Seanan McGuire's October Daye series turned into a tv show. Such good books...and filled with lots of snark too!

Said author also wrote the Newsflesh trilogy under the pseudonym, Mira Grant, and a few weeks ago, she announced that it picked up a movie option. I'd soo love to see this made. The general premise of the novels is what happens to journalism after the zombie apocalypse. Long story short...everybody loses faith in the traditional news media because they kept insisting that nothing was wrong and that no one should panic. Once things were somewhat under control, the populace turned to bloggers instead for information.
