Currently on C4 is a Dispatches special called "How safe are your Christmas toys?" - highlighting the dangers of power magnets in toys.

Oh. My. God!

Soooo Dangerous.

Ban all Children - they are destroying innocent magnets!

No. You see, I won't have that. Channel 4 wouldn't scare monger, not my Channel 4. You take that back, right now.

You are missing the true message, which is that toys should only be allowed if the recipient is over 18. More toys for us, less for them

i enjoyed the bit on the bow and arrow which he used to shoot through a metal casing, but primarily complained about the choking capacity of the suckers he'd removed from them :)

I used to remove the sucker from the wooden arrow, use a pencil sharpener on it as it then stuck in the target better.

I hear some school are having to recall pupils.

They are faulty and may have sharp edges that could hurt someone.

Heh, reminds me back in 1980 I got a set of micro-nauts for christmas, fantastic toys which had magents in them so you could combine/swap/transform them.

I had "Force Commander", "Oberon" ,"Andromeda" and a load of other stuff too..

Then when I was 8 I got a metal and wood working kit...with tools.. I still remember the telling off I got when my perants discovered I had taken apart all my micronauts for their magnets.
