Hatfield Fudding

Nov 21, 2008 13:08

The Boss is going on some charity run thing at Hatfield House on Sunday this weekend and has asked if there any "good" places to eat in the vicinity.

So Hatfidelians past and present, where would you recommend?

It's been replaced by Rainbow, and Rainbow is good. Nice Dim Sum.

The Crooked Chimney, between Hatfield & Wheathampstead is really good for pub food.

Report from the boss was "badly microwaved packet food."

If you like Chinese, there's a noodle bar / dim sum place called Rainbow in Hatfield market square (start at Asda. Head towards the library. Go through the archway. Tadaa, a market square. There are two "squares", this one has a road on one side).

The outside looks rather cheap and tacky, but the service is good and so is the food.

Alternatively, you can do worse than the Red Lion on station road, which is slightly closer to Hatfield House.
