Okay that--that was awesome. I loved that, and I don't even read RPF--like AT ALL. Oh Wizard fandom, you are getting me to do all sorts of things I've never done before--ship siblings (and you know, have cannon evidence to support said sibling ship) and now ship the actors that play the siblings.

I do have one question though--I keep seeing it everywhere, but I can't find what actually happened: when did Demi say something about David and Selena? I found the Seacrest interview, but everyone keeps mentioning Demi saying something, and I thought I'd ask. Does anyone know?

Oh, I know. I'm not a supporter of real people shipping At All...and then I got pulled into the world of Wizards and it just kind of comes with the territory huh?

I do have one question though when did Demi say something about David and Selena?

There was a blurb in an interview a while back in which Selena asked Demi what celebrity she would make a good couple with and Demi said David, and then went on to imply that she had said that before. :) And then a few days ago Demi tweeted at David that he and Selena should come visit her in Canada.

I'm pretty sure there's more, but that's all I can recall right now.

I never never never read RPF - it's one of my personal squick factors. But I wound up following this from the kinkmeme and I'm glad I did (I only had this reaction to one other RPF piece. And I can literally count on one hand the number of RPF's I've read in my entire internet career - about 15 years now!)
This is a fantastic piece of fic - I loved the touches of the horrified fascination Selena has reading the jalex fic, and the genuine connection you show between them. (I also liked the touch of her knowing exactly where he keeps his emergency condoms!) The smut was hot without being tacky. And the ending line was just perfect (I'm a sucker for a good closing line).

It's one of mine too. I only occassionally read a few certain pairings, but this is the first time I've ever written it, and I only did it for a friend.
