i have been running 1 mile for a week now and i finally made it to 2 today! thank god. i am working towards 7. 7 miles is my goal. i think i can i think i can. if i live in s.f. i could use the bay to breakers run as a goal but i don't. and that is no fun to run alone. hrmph. anyone up for a challenge?

Here's an idea: put together a team and we can all do Bay to Breakers together! Good job on the running Christie. You are the coolest. A 5K is going to be my next fitness goal after Half Dome.

good idea! although, aside from brooke...i don't know anyone who enjoys a good jog. our team would be very tiny! ha. oo...and good luck with half dome and the 5k.

Awesome job, you can do it! I just started running again too, I'm doing this. It slowly works you up to running 5K, or 3 miles. I'm only on week 2, so it's nice and easy so far. Yay for running!

This was the plan that I'm going to use as well. I'm nervous about running. I have alot of things that bounce. Ouch!

i would definitely WALK seven miles with you... it's great that you are running, though. your goal should be 7.7 miles on 7/7/07.
