We got a puppy!

We now have Abby! Abby is a rottweiler crossed with a pitbull (although I can't see the pitbull in her at all, and she definitely doesn't have the temperament).
She's 9 weeks old, and fucking adorable.
Yesterday, Sam brought Seven over, and they beat the crap out of each other for a while. Fun!

We couldn't get that breed because our homeowners insurance won't cover our house if we own those types of dogs. Canada is so much better on that, I think.

Nope, pitbull is restricted here too.
Her registration is for a Rottie cross German Shepherd

Rotties aren't allowed here either, though. And it's sad because they are amazing dogs.

I can't wait to see her photos. I bet she's adorable with big paws. I love having a dog. I never thought I would. Rutlie is my baby, that is for sure.

I've heard that Pit Bulls aren't really aggressive unless trained to be. They're muscular with a high pain tolerance though, so teaching them to fight was fairly common back in non-PETA days. My first experience with a Rottweiler was that it came barreling across the lawn and toppled me over...simply because it wanted to lick my face repeatedly of course.

She doesn't seem to have any aggression with her, unless agravated by another dog...it's all about the kisses with her.
