First Resin Face-up! Petdoll: Kitty

I was thrilled to get a Petdoll: Kitty since they are no longer made. I got her from (Vicki in TN)unpainted and new! I started by sanding the seams and replaced one of the eyes with a purple eye cause one of the blue ones was cracked. oooh, a black kitty!

She came out beautifully! Nice job. (and how brave of you to totally paint the kitty black! Paint the WHOLE THING... wow! and yes, I believe it took lots of coats to get that nice color!)

She definitely has personality and Style! and that face is just gorgeous!

Looks great! I like her snout, nice work blending those brown with the black. That's always hard to do, and you pulled it off well. :)

One question, did you hand-paint the black undercoat?

Yep I sure did! It only took me 7 hours to get it all black! lol

I see them on eBay occasionally but I don't know anyone who sells them specifically. Best of luck though!!
