Kibum sat quietly on his bed, watching the sleeping form of his new roommate as their body rose and fell with deep, even breaths. For some reason, the agency had decided recently to switch the rooms around, and now he was stuck sharing a room with the last person he wanted to be alone with: Yesung. It wasn't that he didn't like the strange man; in fact, it was the exact opposite. Kibum seemed to like him a bit too much, and he wasn't too proud to admit it - well, at least to himself.
The silence hung heavily in the air as Kibum found himself unable to do anything but watch the older man with curious eyes. He found himself briefly wondering if Yesung was dreaming, and if he was, what was he dreaming about? He wondered if, because of their new relationship as roommates, there would be any chance that anything would happen between them. He wondered what Yesung would do if he confessed his love. Would the older man laugh and brush it off as a joke like he did so many things? Would he freak out (in that adorable way that no one else could) and demand to switch roommates because Kibum was gay for him? Or would there be any slight chance he would accept Kibum's feelings?
Kibum sighed softly, running a hand through his hair as he shook his head, admitting to himself that any hope he held was entirely misplaced. It was well-known in the group that Yesung did not believe in love. No one knew exactly why, but the reason behind it was inconsequential. There was no room for a romantic relationship with anyone in Yesung's heart.
Growing frustrated with his thoughts that were literally getting him nowhere, Kibum decided that finally it was about time he went to sleep. His schedule for the next day was simply murderous, and he would be needing all the sleep he could get to be able to stay awake despite the stress. He relaxed, shifting under his blankets and laying his head on the soft pillow, still watching Yesungs' sleeping form. It was a wonder why he liked the strange man; Kibum knew very well that he would never understand it. But the heart wanted what it wanted.
Slowly, after a long while, Kibums eyes started drifting closed as he neared sleep. But then he heard something unusual, something that hadn't been there before. He looked over at Yesung's bed, where the sound was coming from, and felt his eyes widen with shock when he realized what was happening. Yesung was having a wet dream.
Kibum grumbled under his breath, grabbing his mp3 player and putting the headphones on blast as he tried his hardest to ignore what was going on right beside him. Slowly, he settled in to anxiously go to sleep, knowing very well that this would be the roughest night he'd had in a while.

"How do they expect me to do all of this?" Kibum grumbled to himself, tugging hard on his hair as he slumped further onto the sofa. Every day of his week was packed to the brim with interviews and shows and dance practice and radio shows and dramas and just...there was barely even enough time for him to eat! He groaned in frustration as he felt himself grow tired, knowing very well that his body was now responding to the stress. Every time he got stressed out, he became tired. The fact that he hadn't been able to sleep at all the night before wasn't helping, either. He let out a slight yawn, leaning his head against the arm of the couch, and just like that, he was asleep.
***
When he woke up, it was sudden and surprising and painful. He gasped as he arched off the sofa, having at some point laid down, only to find that he couldn't do so. He blinked, looking down, surprised to see a mop of black shiny hair at his chin. He blinked again, struggling against the form, only to freeze when none other than Yesung looked up, grinning at him manically.
"Yah! What are you doing?" He yelled, pushing Yesung off of him as the smaller boy toppled to the ground with a high pitched squeal that no one else would have been able to make. Great, just great. He'd dreamed of being woken up by Yesung many times before, but never quite in that manner. He always thought of something more, you know, romantic. Nothing in those thoughts had involved being tackled hard enough to bruise his ribs.
"You can't sleep at 2 in the afternoon!" Yesung pouted as he sat cross-legged on the floor, merely looking up at Kibum. "Your sleep schedule with get all kinds of fucked up."
"Not as fucked up as your face will be if you ever do that again," Kibum growled, ignoring the surprised (but almost fake sounding) gasp from the boy on the floor. God, it was ridiculous. Why did Yesung always feel the need to be so...Yesung? Why couldn't he just act his own age for once?
"But you can't mess with my face! It's too hot to get messed up! My fans will kill you!" Kibum blinked, looking down at Yesung's sincere face for a long moment. It appeared his hyung was serious. He burst out laughing, reaching down and slapping Yesung upside the head, laughing even harder at the others' bewildered expression.
"You're hilarious, hyung. But I'm sure some girls like a slightly messed up nose. It adds to the 'bad boy' image, though I'm not sure you could ever pull that off. Especially since they finally started giving you air time on shows and people now realize exactly how strange you are."
"Meanie," Yesung grumbled, staring at the floor for a long moment with a sad expression on his face. Kibum almost started feeling bad for being so mean to the older man, but then suddenly Yesung was looking back up at him, an excited grin stretching across his lips. Kibum blinked, knowing very well that that look could mean nothing good. The older boy had a tendency to be really mischievous at times, and it always seemed to follow one of his sudden ideas that made him look so...thrilled. "Heyheyhey~!!! We should play together~! I'm really bored, and it's the least you could do for being so mean to me. Help cure me of my boredom!"
Kibum merely looked at Yesung for a long moment with a raised eyebrow, trying to figure out exactly what Yesung was thinking, and where that had come from. Even coming from Yesung, that was a random request. Normally he would have asked for someone to make him food, or play video games, but he never actually asked something so vague. "What do you want to do, hyung?" Kibum asked cautiously, leaning away as if he didn't quite trust the older boy. Because he didn't; not when he was this bouncy.
"Wellllllll," Yesung mumbled, seeming to think it over before grinning, looking at Kibum with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Did Kibum just gulp in fear? "I was thinnnking, we could just start off easy and see what happens?"
"What the hell does that mean?" Kibum asked nervously, nearly yelping in surprise as the older man suddenly got up from the floor, effectively tackling him once again. But this time, he didn't stay in one place; he moved around, squirming in just the right way to make Kibum recall what had happened the night before in such a vivid manner it almost scared him. The way Yesung was moving though, it didn't seem like it was accidental. In fact, it almost seemed...intentional. Kibum gulped, his eyes wide as his mind tried to wrap itself around exactly what was happening. No, no way. Yesung wasn't implying...was he?
"I know you like me, Kibum. And I'm horny. And no one else is in the dorm. There will be no one around to hear any kind of screams or banging or to chance across seeing anything. Get what I'm saying?" Yesung asked, allowing his cute demeanor to drop as a sly smirk overtook his face, more or less revealing his true colors. Kibum bit back a groan, knowing very well that in this kind of situation there was no way he could refuse. The man he loved (though he was still unsure why he did) was suddenly implying dirty things involving the both of them together. Things that no one would ever find out about. Things that could give him verrry good one-on-one material for months. He knew in the back of his mind that Yesung didn't feel anything for him and just wanted to use him to get off, but at that moment, Kibum couldn't really make himself care.
Allowing his surprise to simmer down, Kibum felt another heated emotion begin to bubble up in the back of his throat. He nodded, grinning in a way that made it obvious he more than agreed to this idea, gasping in surprise at the expression Yesung wore at the response. It was so intense, so full of lust and passion that he couldn't help but groan. His head fell back as lips slowly attacked his own, knowing that in no time at all he would be in heaven, or hell, depending on which Yesung decided to come out. He wasn't sure which he was going to experience, but he knew that either way, it was going to be amazing.
***
A week later, Kibum found himself wandering around the dorm trying to think of something to occupy himself with. It was the first day in a while that he had actually been home, and now that he wasn't packed with things to do, he wasn't sure what to do with himself. He looked around the empty living room, staring blankly at the furniture - or was he staring at the wall? He wasn't sure; his mind felt empty but at the same time packed to the brim. He felt hollow, but at the same time extremely stressed. He didn't know what to make of himself anymore.
Sighing, he grabbed his cup of coffee off the counter and took a sip as he plopped down on the couch. There was nothing to do.
Kibum grumbled in frustration, trying to ignore the thoughts that suddenly tried to force their way into his mind. He did not want to think about what had happened between himself and Yesung just a week ago. There was no reason for him to think of it; it had happened once, and it would never happen again. Even if it had been absolutely amazing, there was no way he would allow himself to give in that easily ever again.
He felt a sharp pang emanate through his chest, painful enough to make him wince. He knew he shouldn't be thinking about it; he knew it would only hurt. His love for the older man only seemed to have grown since that time, despite the fact that they hadn't seen each other in an entire week. It only made him miss Yesung more.
Kibum blinked as he heard the door to the dorms shut, his head spinning around as he tried to imagine who it would be. He knew that Heechul and Hankyung were off on a date today, and that Donghae was doing some variety show. Zhou Mi had gone back to China, which could only mean one thing...
"Oh," Yesung said as he walked into the living room, causing Kibum's heart to start pounding so hard he was sure the other man could hear it. "I didn't know you would be home today."
Kibum merely nodded, gulping as his eyes followed Yesung around the room while the older man went through the motions of putting his stuff away and getting settled in. Kibum gasped softly when Yesung bent over to retrieve his laptop from the floor, his mind quickly playing through the images from that night just a week ago. Had it only been a week? It felt like forever since he'd touched that soft yet firm skin, since he'd held the smaller man in his arms, since they had...
Kibum was snapped out of his thoughts as he felt a pair of eyes on him. His vision focused once again, only to see Yesung looking at him with an obviously pleased expression on his face. Kibum sunk back into the couch, fighting the urge to bite his lip as a wave of lust and embarrassment flooded through him. The look on Yesung's face was so similar to the one from a week ago...
"Hey," Kibum's eyes widened at the sound of Yesung's voice, that voice which had been screaming his name not that long ago. The one that drove him made until---shit! What was wrong with him today?! "You want to play again?"
Kibum felt his breath catch in his throat as he stared at the playful look on Yesung's face, having to fight back against the urge to run over there and tackle the older man right to the ground.
"No, I'd rather not," Kibum grumbled, balling his hand into a fist to keep himself from taking back what he said. Yesung didn't seem to notice this and instead just stood there with a confused expression on his face. God, that expression...it was so adorable. It made Kibum want to go over there and hug the older man and pat him on the head. But he knew he couldn't.
"Why not? I thought we had fun last time. I mean, if you're worrying about me, I'm totally fine with it. Besides, I know you like me so what's the ---"
"That's exactly it," Kibum said, looking up at Yesung and watching the older boys eyes widen. He knew he was glaring, but he couldn't help it. This entire situation had him feeling so frustrated and lost and confused and he needed to get it out of his system, even if he knew he shouldn't take it out on anyone. But he couldn't help it. He snapped. "For once, you're completely right. Yeah, I like you. Yeah, I had a fucking fantastic time. But that's the thing! It was supposed to just happen once! Because I know damn well you don't feel anything for me, and I'll be damned if I sleep with you again knowing that. Once, I can handle. But twice and I'll start to get my hopes up and I can't allow that to happen, Yesung! Because it would hurt too much. And besides, I never sleep with anyone more than once unless I'm going out with them so I'm sorry, but--"
"Then why don't we start going out?" Yesung asked, making Kibum freeze. His eyes widened as he looked at Yesung, trying to figure out whether or not the other man was joking. It didn't seem like he was.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Kibum growled, hurling a pillow at Yesung. The older man eeped and ducked his head, but not quickly enough. He was sent flying to the ground when the pillow hit him smack in the middle of his forehead. Kibum rushed over, grabbing Yesung by the chin and forcing the smaller man to look up at him, a small groan emanating from the back of his throat at the absolutely adorable look on the others face. Damnit, if he didn't force himself to stay angry, he knew his determination would crumble.
"You think I'll go out with you knowing damn well that to you, I'm just a toy? When I know you don't like me back? When you just want to use me for your own sick games? Do you really think I can do that?"
"I never said I didn't like you," Yesung said, sending Kibum reeling back with wide eyes. "I mean, I don't think I do. But I think I could probably grow to like you. And I think we really are compatible in bed, and I want to see if that's the only place we're compatible."
Kibum grumbled to himself, wondering once again why he had to fall for Yesung of all people. The older man was obviously more than a little oblivious to what it meant to like someone. But he couldn't help it, and he knew that if he ignored this opportunity, he would more than likely lose any chance of Yesung falling for him forever.
Kibum sighed, running a hand through his hair as he looked down at Yesung's sincere face, knowing that the older man didn't have a single cruel bone in his body. He would never lie about something like that just to get in someone's pants. Kibum grumbled to himself before nodding slowly, a slight frown on his lips.
"Fine. But tonight, you have to do everything I say. Got it?"
Kibum grinned as he saw the older man nod, knowing very well that even with all those potential promises hanging in the air, tonight was going to be a very entertaining night.
