Allergic to Air

My allergies have never been this bad. I'm juggling four different types of allergy meds, an albuterol inhaler, a decongestant and big calcium horse-pills to counteract the osteoporosis that the steroids in my nasal spray and inhaler will inevitably bring on. I sometimes hear that these kinds of allergies get milder as time passes. Do you know if this is true?

The doctor said my allergies won't get any better, and if my father is an indicator they might just get worse. I'm hoping that I'm reacting this badly because it's our first Spring in this environment. Perhaps I'll build up some kind of tolerance, but I'm sure I'll have to medicate myself for the rest of my life. I'm going to hunt the various outdoor markets and try to find some local, unfiltered honey- that's supposed to help.

BTW, I saw a guy walking down the street yesterday that I thought for a split-second was you. I was slightly let down when I remembered you aren't in Rochester. :)

Oh my goodness! That sounds horrific. I hope spring starts to behave itself more. It sounds like you need an air purifier (although who wants to be stuck indoors when the sun is shining?) Yay for parents coming to visit though! xoxo

Thanks, babe. I'm sure all this allergy stuff will get sorted over the next couple of months.

Yay parents coming to visit, indeed! I'm dying to cook for them because I've only just learned how to cook some cool stuff and I want to show off!
