here's how i'm making my final college choice--

i send deposits to both places on the SECOND of may, and whichever college is alright with that, i'm alright with them.

it's a funny feeling you get when you walk by a group of teenagers in the subway and notice that they're talking about the same thing you and your friends have been talking about for the past month. and they wonder why all our college essays sound the same.

i've been in new york for two weeks now; it's going pretty well. the overwhelming feeling of dread that characterized my last few days in berkeley evaporated as soon as i got here. now i have trouble remembering what it was i was dreading, which is good. that's what i had hoped would happen.
