I'll be your friend (if I'm not already, which I like to think I am). Just... please don't show me that tape. Mark told me about it. I... well, I'm already dead, so I don't think it would effect me, but... now I have two other people to think of.

And you are my friend, if I have any. I just...didn't have any before coming here. It feels odd to have friends since that's like a trace of humanity for me.

*smiles* I know exactly what you mean. Miss Galinda... or Glinda now, I suppose, and Boq and Crope and Tibbett and Yero were the only friends I ever had before coming here, and they were all (besides Yero) in my school days. Now I have so many friends, and an amazing husband.

We have more in common than I thought, Sadako.

I'd...I'd be your friend, Miss. If you wanted a little boy for a friend. It's just that...I don't understand...why you have to hurt people? Why would people be angry if you didn't? My family... They were all called "ghosts" and "monsters" but they never hurt anyone and no one ever made them hurt anyone or got mad at them if they decided not to.

Friends don't have to make you human if you don't want them to, you know. You can still be a ghost or whatever you happen to be and people can still care about you and... It can't really hurt to have people care about you, can it?

*careful hug* 'msorry i got upset with you, miss. it's just, i rather like lady alice, and i rather like her alive, and i think she does, too, or i hope she does, too, and, well. i'm sure it'll turn out alright. it's not as though i can prejudiced against dead people.
