Hello Everyone! This is an urgent post for all those near Eastern PA and New Jersey!

I, along with kookyfox , want to host a Pre-Holiday Meet on Saturday, December 12th which will include Dinner and Fursuit Bowling! I know this may be short notice for some of you, but we thought it would be a great idea to get together before the Christmas/Hanukkah ( Read more... )

No guarantees yet...there is some fursuiting event happening in central PA that I might be a part of. But if I were to join you guys Allentown would be the most convenient :)

I'd love to do this but am still kinda wary. I've only recently been participating in the fandom and still don't know any furs personally who I could go with comfortably. So, I may or may not go. If I do, I may bring a friend (who might not be furry) if that's fine.

*nods* I understand. If you don't think your friend would mind being around furries then sure they can come! Honestly, you'll find the people that I expect to come to be more on the normal side of furry. If not you don't have to sit with them :P I promise it'll be a lot of fun! Like a mini-con with great friends.

awesome. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for details and eventually decide on whether or not I'm coming ^_^

From my own experience running the Delaware Bowling meets, I've found that buffets work fantastically for events like this. Buffet's are usually the best equipped, with a party/banquet room and a cashier for people to pay at rather than checks to deal with.

Hope this works out! If I could attend I most definitely would but unfortunately I'm tied up with my own DE furry holiday events. :3

Wow! Thank you very much! That is very helpful, I'll definitely be looking up buffets now. I wonder if there is an Old Country Buffet somewhere. Any others you'd recommend? Good luck with your events!

I'm trying to get down there for a bowling meet but I need the right weekend to come along for time. A January weekend looks great right now :P Thanks again, mate!

I've never had a bad experience with a Chinese buffet place. They're usually everywhere, a decent price, and who doesn't like Chinese? From my experience Old Country Buffets are usually too crowded, but it can definitely vary ( ... )

No that's fine! Thank you. I'm already set to call the bowling alley I go to, they know me very well and I already know the perfect lanes to reserve (which happen to be on the end). They have 40 lanes and aren't usually full, but it looks like we might be going to New Brunswick, in which case I'm calling Tony about where they usually go.

I'm really excited to get this going, and I was glad we thought of it with plenty of time left. The only thing you told me that I didn't know was about your notes. My plan is to make it less of a formal meet and more of a giant get together, with Kooky and I taking care of the necessary preliminaries. Can you explain a little further. Are you taking notes on feedback?
