They adopted Haneul when he was eighteen months old. Ryeowook still remembered the day Jongwoon brought him home; Ryeowook was still dressed in his military uniform having just finally been able to go back to their shared apartment after too long at his parents’ house. Jongwoon had to adopt Haneul singularly and the cover of Ryeowook’s service made it harder for the media to link that Haneul was theirs and not just Jongwoon’s. They weren’t hounding as much as they used to when fans found out they had moved in together - the novelty had worn off - but an adoption would no doubt bring out a horde of new people.
“He’s gotten a lot bigger then when I saw him last week.” Jongwoon spoke quietly as Ryeowook cradled Haneul.
“He’s gorgeous.” Ryeowook breathed, carefully taking a seat on their couch as he brushed his fingers down Haneul’s face.
“Yeah.” Jongwoon was looking at the small baby. “He is.”
Haneul grew up fast. One minute he was taking hesitant steps and the next he was mouthing along to songs that Ryeowook played while he cooked dinner. Ryeowook smiled, keeping one eye on Haneul as he turned off the burner. He turned and lifted the boy up, holding him on his hip as he walked back through the apartment. Haneul was giggling by the time Ryeowook opened the door to the small office to reveal Jongwoon sitting in front of a computer, headphones on, going back and forth between a keyboard, a notebook and the computer. Ryeowook looked down at Haneul who covered his mouth before looking up, his grin showing all the baby teeth that had finally grown in.
“Do you want to go say hi to your daddy?” Ryeowook asked, starting to lean down. Haneul shook his head, looking back at Jongwoon who still hadn’t noticed they were there. Ryeowook smiled, lifting him back up. “Want me to come with you?”
He nodded enthusiastically, and Ryeowook stepped into the office, going around the desk. Jongwoon still hadn’t looked up and so when Haneul reached out, grabbing at the headphones and tugging hair by accident Jongwoon jumped.
Haneul and Ryeowook laughed, Ryeowook falling a couple steps back as Jongwoon ripped the headphones off his head so the music filled the room. He frowned for only a second and then his face split into a grin and he reached his hand out. Haneul let out a laugh and Ryeowook let Jongwoon hold him, watched him cradle him against his shoulder before Haneul turned his eyes to the computer screen.
“That?” He mumbled, pointing as Jongwoon let his stand half in his lap and half on the chair.
“I’m working on a song.” Jongwoon let out a laugh as Haneul just looked at him as if he were crazy. “What? Do you not think I am?”
Haneul shook his head, and he let out a loud squeal as Jongwoon began to tickle him. Ryeowook picked up the notebook, looking over the scribbled down notes and lyrics as he heard Haneul’s happy shrieks quiet down to almost nothing. Jongwoon’s voice replaced it, quietly explaining in Haneul’s ear what he was doing.
The humming started, Jongwoon singing against Haneul’s head as he pointed to each note. Ryeowook looked up. Haneul was beginning to squirm and Jongwoon chuckled, stopping the song.
“It’s a nice song.” Ryeowook said, putting the notes down. “Don’t you think Haneul?”
He smiled and shook his head, but when Jongwoon started to tickle him again he nodded, biting his fist. “Yes.” He said around his fist as Jongwoon stood up, carrying him.
“Is dinner ready?” He asked, letting Haneul grab hold of one of his hands.
Ryeowook nodded and he took Jongwoon’s elbow, leading them out of the office. “Who are you composing that for?”
Jongwoon gave a little shrug, bouncing Haneul. “The company. They want a ballad. I asked why they didn’t ask you.”
“Why didn’t they?” Ryeowook began to fill each of their bowls while Jongwoon set Haneul up in his chair.
“Didn’t say.” Jongwoon muttered, not looking Ryeowook in the eye.
Ryeowook put the plates down and rested his hands on his hips. “Jongwoon.”
He looked sheepish as he pulled away from Haneul, handing him the utensil so he could begin to eat his food. “They just mentioned they don’t want you distracted.”
“Distracted? From what?”
Jongwoon gave a shrug, but he answered Ryeowook’s question. “They were hoping for a comeback.”
“From who? Me? Or us?”
Jongwoon shrugged again, taking his seat. “I don’t know, but it’s probably something you should talk to them about. Since I know all you want to do is compose.”
Ryeowook shifted as he took his seat. “I wouldn’t mind recording a new album, but Haneul.” He trailed off, took a breath. “It’s easier to just stick to composing.”
“I am able to take care of him you know.”
Ryeowook laughed, nodding. “I know. I just don’t want to be absent all the time. A lot of my friends have been.”
Jongwoon nodded his head. “I understand. We’ll think about it.”
Ryeowook agreed, and started to eat dinner.
Four years meant two and a half albums. Ryeowook only counted one of a half because it was a Chinese remake of some of his biggest hits. Four years also meant six months away from his son while he promoted that Chinese album, and countless phone calls home to make sure everything was fine. The tabloids had stopped covering Jongwoon and Haneul’s every movement about a year after he had been adopted and so he wasn’t constantly surrounded by rumors while he toured the country.
Four years also meant Haneul starting elementary school. Ryeowook announced to the company that he was taking hiatus and after three hits by company standards, he was allowed it, on the idea that he would be back better than ever. Ryeowook wasn’t sure he was willing to come back as he buttoned up Haneul’s shirt and straightened the backpack they had bought him; he was too afraid he would continue to lose moments like this if he had to get shuttled back and forth to China.
“Are you nervous?” He asked Haneul who nodded. He had been quiet all morning and Ryeowook was positive he was terrified of school. “Don’t be nervous. Nothing will go wrong.”
Haneul was close to shaking but he nodded. “Promise daddy?”
“Of course. You’ll be fine.”
“But what. What if I mess up again?” His voice was shy, terrified to disappoint his parents.
Ryeowook smiled softly and hugged him close. It was hard trying to explain why he couldn’t talk about having two fathers, but one slip to an older kid at the park and Haneul had learned why both his fathers had been very strict about that one rule.
“I love you.” Ryeowook said, kissing Haneul’s hairline. “You’ll do fine.”
Jongwoon was waiting by the door, keys in hand. He reached out his other hand for Haneul and he waited patiently as Haneul continued to cling to Ryeowook.
“Are you sure daddy can’t come?” He asked, playing with the baseball cap Jongjin had bought him.
Jongwoon and Ryeowook exchanged looks, and Ryeowook let out a pitiful sigh. “I don’t think so.” Haneul clutched his hand tighter and Ryeowook felt his resolve slowly crack. He pursed his lips. “Jongwoon. We could. I’ll just wait in the car.”
Haneul lit up at that, and he grabbed Jongwoon’s hand, leading both of them outside. Jongwoon sputtered but then let out a sigh as he locked the door to their apartment behind him. Ryeowook could see the smile on his face though.
By the time they had reached the school Haneul had managed to convince the two that Ryeowook should come inside.
“I won’t say anything.” He said in a quiet voice from the back of the car and Ryeowook couldn’t tell him no.
The teacher gave them a strange look as they entered the classroom and Jongwoon began to fill out paperwork. She tried to say hello to Haneul but he just continued to move close to Ryeowook.
She smiled politely at Ryeowook. “And you are?”
“I’m the emergency contact.” Ryeowook explained, squeezing Haneul’s hand. The boy slid closer to Ryeowook’s leg.
The teacher seemed to accept that and Ryeowook let out a breath he hadn’t realized he had been hiding. There were the occasions when people thinking a relationship between two men didn’t exist worked to their advantage.
“Ryeowook may also pick Haneul up some days if I’m busy at work.” Jongwoon continued, handing over the paperwork.
She nodded and then offered Haneul her hand. He looked at her warily and then at Jongwoon and finally up at Ryeowook. Jongwoon kneeled in front of and offered him a hug.
“Be good.” He whispered and Haneul nodded. “Follow the rules, okay?”
Haneul nodded again and slowly began to let go of Ryeowook’s hand as Jongwoon stood up. The teacher was patiently waiting with a smile as Haneul took a step forward. Ryeowook smiled as Haneul waved.
“I love you daddy.” He said quietly and Ryeowook’s throat tightened and he clenched his fists at his side as Jongwoon smiled, waving back.
Ryeowook waved as well, waved until the door shut and he and Jongwoon had to leave. Once they were in the car Jongwoon reached over and grabbed his hand.
“It never gets any easier.” He gripped Jongwoon’s fingers as he said that.
“I know.”
“I sometimes wonder if it’s worth it.”
“No you don’t.” Jongwoon said, lifting Ryeowook’s hands up to his lips. It was the most they could do seated in a parking lot.
Ryeowook blushed but didn’t pull his hand away. “No. I don't.”
The picture was of a small girl with her hair pulled up in about six different scrunchies and Ryeowook fell in love immediately.
“How old is she?” Haneul asked, staring at the pictures with a critical eye.
“She’ll be three in a month.” Jongwoon answered, taking the picture away from Ryeowook so Haneul could get a better look.
Ryeowook picked up the file that had the rest of her information. He didn’t think he would be as nervous the second time around but his hands still shook as he turned the pages.
“What do you think?” Jongwoon asked, and Ryeowook looked up only to realize he was talking to Haneul.
Haneul frowned and took the picture from Jongwoon so he could look at it closer. “Does she cry?” Both of them laughed out loud and Ryeowook put down the folder so he could pull Haneul into his lap. Haneul put up minimal fuss as he continued to look at the picture. “I guess we can get her even if she cries.” He looked up at Ryeowook. “It would make you happy, right daddy?”
Ryeowook nodded slowly reaching across the couch to grab Jongwoon’s hand. “But this isn’t just about me and your father.”
Haneul tried to roll his eyes, and Ryeowook hid his laugh as Haneul sat there, obviously trying to figure out how to say what he felt. He finally handed the picture back to Jongwoon and crossed his arms. “She just needs to follow the rules.”
Ryeowook smiled and hugged Haneul close to him, ignoring the boy’s squirming.
The adoption took longer for Jooeun because the agency wasn’t sure if two children to one parent was a good combination. Neither of them felt safe enough in even offering the option that Ryeowook would be there to take care of the two. He stayed with his parents for a few days while the inspectors kept coming in and out and Jongwoon was run through so many interviews that by the time they finally got approved Haneul was entering the second grade and Jooeun was about to turn four.
Ryeowook knew that a lot of their approval - well Jongwoon’s approval - came from Haneul. He wouldn’t probably realize how much his insistency that Jooeun’s was already theirs affected their rating until he was much older. Ryeowook had been impressed with how quickly he became attached, asking questions about her, the first being her birthday.
Ryeowook had thought nothing of it, until they were shopping a week later and Haneul ran up to him, holding a big pink stuffed horse. Ryeowook pursed his lips, confused; Haneul was more of a turtle kid.
“I don’t think you need that, do you?” He asked, reaching for the toy.
Hanuel shook his head, pulling the toy away. “No daddy. This isn’t for me. It’s for Jooeun.” He displayed the toy again as if this new information made it look suddenly different in Ryeowook’s eyes.
He inwardly cursed himself that it did as he let Haneul carry the stuffed animal up to the cash register. Haneul insisted on hand delivering it to Jooeun, getting close to throwing a tantrum when he argued that she needed to spend her birthday with her family. Ryeowook tried to explain that they wouldn’t let them see her, but eventually Jongwoon promised to call and see if the agency would make an exception.
Haneul gave Jooeun her present on her third birthday. They stayed at the orphanage, Ryeowook able to tag along under the pretense of work that needed to get done and the director didn’t ask any questions, finding Haneul’s excitement cute.
Ryeowook leaned against Jongwoon as they watched Haneul get led around the small backyard by Jooeun, the stuffed horse tucked safely under her arm. They would stop occasionally, and Jooeun would point towards something, Haneul would nod and then they would be off running.
When they finally were able to bring her home for good, Haneul took her by the arm and showed her where everything was. She laughed, much louder after spending almost a year with them, and comfortable in the presence of all of them. Ryeowook caught her when she ran up to him after the tour was complete and he tried to swing her up in the air like Jongwoon did but he couldn’t get it just right and she giggled, swinging her feet.
“Down! Down!” She shrieked and Ryeowook put her down. She ran across the room right into Jongwoon’s knees and he lifted her up. She wiggled her fingers in Ryeowook’s directions, giggling. “Not daddy. Don’t like it.”
They both froze and Ryeowook felt the colour drain out of his face. He barely heard Jooeun laugh louder as he stared into Jongwoon’s eyes. Haneul attached himself to Ryeowook’s knee and he absently reached down to pull him closer.
Jongwoon was speaking to Jooeun when he finally came too, the fear and rejection slowly dripping away.
“If he isn’t your daddy then who is he?” Jongwoon asked and Jooeun laughed, looking at Ryeowook.
“Daddy.” She turned and touched Jongwoon’s face. “Daddy.” She held up two fingers. “Two daddys.” She nodded, as if proud of herself and Ryeowook let out a breath.
He walked forward, Haneul still hugging his knee and he reached for Jooeun even as she let out a loud laugh. “You don’t like me picking you up?” He asked, thinking he may understand. She laughed and kicked as Ryeowook tried hard to mimic the toss that Jongwoon would do and Haneul started to laugh as well as he switched legs, grabbing onto Jongwoon.
The sore back and arms he had later that night were worth the pain.
The park three blocks from their apartment was one of the first places they took Jooeun. She loved it, having never been on or seen a complex play structure before. Jongwoon and Ryeowook watched from the bench as Haneul led her up and down the structure, showing her all his favourite places.
She was a happy kid so she laughed at almost anything, but then her face would get serious as Haneul tried to explain something and she’d try her best to repeat after him. Ryeowook enjoyed watching them, and they would come to the park whenever they could, usually after Haneul was let out of school.
“Are those two yours?”
Jongwoon and Ryeowook looked up at the woman, around their age. Jongwoon didn’t try and straighten up from where he had taken over most of the bench with how he was stretched out. He looked back at the playground and smiled.
“The boy is mine, the girl is Ryeowook’s.” Jongwoon said and Ryeowook really hoped that the two wouldn’t come running up, correcting them.
But neither of them came over as the woman let out a soft “oh,” and casually mentioned how lucky their wives were.
Ryeowook tried to hide his smile when Jongwoon quipped back that they weren’t married.
“Our wives both died of cancer. We met through a support group.” He explained and the woman was taken aback but quickly found a way to excuse herself.
“That was mean of you.” Ryeowook muttered but he was smiling. “And what if one of the kids heard you? It’s complicated enough trying to explain why one lie is okay but others aren’t.”
Jongwoon shrugged but he looked like he had understood where Ryeowook was coming from.
“Jongjin is coming soon.” Jongwoon mentioned as they continued to watch Haneul try to get across the monkey bars.
“Oh? Is he meeting us here?”
“He was thinking the clearing over near the restaurants.”
Ryeowook nodded and stood, going to the edge of the play structure to call his children to him. “Haneul. Jooeun.” They both looked up and made a dash for him, attaching themselves to his leg when they reached him. Jongwoon joined them, taking Jooeun in his arms as Ryeowook took Haneul’s hand.
As they passed by the group of women Ryeowook saw Jongwoon shot one of them a big grin and he quickly elbowed him. “Stop it.”
Jongwoon turned to him, still smiling as he shifted Jooeun. “What?”
“You know what.”
“Don’t you find it cute when they try to hit on you.”
Ryeowook blushed. “No. It’s annoying.”
Haneul let go of Ryeowook’s hand as soon as they reached the clearing and Jooeun wiggled down, out of Jongwoon’s reach. Haneul stopped and turned, grabbing his sister’s hand before starting in a fast run.
“Catch us daddy.” Haneul called and Ryeowook took a breath before jogging after the two. They both shrieked and continued to run, Ryeowook trying half-heartedly to catch them.
Jongwoon hung back, watching the three run around. He laughed at them though, especially when Haneul turned and the two kids charged at Ryeowook. He let out a shriek that he was really embarrassed to make and fell over, the two kids climbing on top of him.
“Jongwoon!” Ryeowook called amidst his laughter. “Help.” He looked over at him, confused at why he had stopped laughing and saw him staring off down the field.
Ryeowook turned his head to look where Jongwoon was looking and he frowned at a couple of men sitting on the bench. They seemed to be watching them as they played, talking casually and pointing, and Ryeowook shifted uncomfortably but then Haneul found his ribs and he fell over with laughter.
The kids were both unaware of the people watching them, and Ryeowook tried to brush it off as nothing, because it probably was nothing. Jongwoon didn’t relax though until he saw Jongjin approaching with a friendly wave. Haneul and Jooeun jumped up off of Ryeowook and ran towards their uncle. Jongwoon and Ryeowook followed at a slower pace, letting Jongjin take a moment to say hello to each of the kids before he had to say hello to either of them.
“How are you doing?” Jongwoon asked, clapping his brother on the shoulder in a friendly hug.
“I’m good. How are you guys?” Jongjin pulled back and then embraced Ryeowook, a full hug this time, and he rocked him a little bit before letting go.
When they parted Jongwoon’s face was pulled tight, even as Jooeun danced around them.
Jongjin frowned. “Is something the matter?” He looked at Ryeowook who was looking off across the field for a moment.
“Those guys have been looking at us since we came over here.” Ryeowook finally said in a low voice that was almost drowned out by Haneul jumping at Jongjin’s side, begging to be picked up.
Jongjin glanced over to where the men on the bench were sitting and he swung Haneul around so he was distracted from their serious expressions. “They haven’t come over here yet?”
Jongwoon clicked his tongue, causing Jooeun to laugh as he lifted her up by the wrists.
“No.” Ryeowook answered. “Some of the ladies over at the playground talked to us but that was for different reasons.”
Jongjin didn’t take his eyes away from the small group. “Want me to go over there and say something?”
Jongwoon shook his head. “Leave it alone.”
Jongjin looked like he wanted to protest but he was still holding onto Haneul and both kids had fallen silent. Jongjin put a smile on his face as he looked down at Haneul.
“Are you ready to go and eat?”
Jooeun gave a cheer, and after a moment Haneul followed, nodding his head vigorously. They began to walk away and Ryeowook had to squash the small part of him that wanted to look back. By the time they were settled in the restaurant the strange looks were gone from his mind as Haneul and Jooeun tried to use their spoons to engage in the swordfight they had seen in a cartoon from that morning and Jongwoon caught up with his brother.
“You know how mom can be. You’re all settled down, two kids, successful and you aren’t even married.” Jongjin shook his head. “I can’t win.”
Jongwoon laughed and took Ryeowook’s hand in his. “I’m sure you’ll find a good army slut-“ He was cut off by Ryeowook jabbing him in the gut. He looked at Ryeowook and nudged him back. “What?”
Ryeowook sent a glance to the two kids who seemed more interested in their utensil fight. Jongwoon looked confused and Ryeowook just sighed, covering his face with his hand as Jongjin laughed at them.
Ryeowook hated waiting in the car. Even after three years of playing this game where he couldn’t do anything if either of them got hurt he still tagged along: the constant friend of the family, the emergency contact. He sighed and rubbed his temples as he saw Jongwoon approaching the car, Haneul and Jooeun behind him. Ryeowook sat up, unbuckling his seatbelt to get out of the car but one look from Jongwoon and he stayed in the car.
Haneul opened the backseat, climbing in, followed closely by his sister. She was close to tears but Haneul kept his serious face, something he had picked up from Jongwoon. Ryeowook looked at Jongwoon, concerned.
“What happened?” He hadn’t expected Jooeun to be involved in this call.
Jongwoon let out a breath and started the car. He glanced in the rear view mirror. “Haneul want to explain?”
The eight year old swallowed and as Ryeowook looked at him he could see the nervousness start to show through the cracks. “I got into a fight.”
Ryeowook’s eyebrows shot up and he looked at Jongwoon who was focused on driving. He looked back at his kids; Jooeun was close to outright crying. He couldn’t see any sign of a fight taking place; Haneul looked clean. A small part of him was proud and he knew Jongwoon probably had the same feeling running through him. He had to be stern though. “Why did you get into a fight?”
Haneul shifted in his seat, glancing at his sister. Ryeowook waited and he glanced at Jongwoon; his lip was quirked.
“They were being mean to Jooeun.” He finally said quietly. Jooeun let out a little sob and Haneul looked up. “They said she wasn’t my sister.” He crossed his arms at that.
Ryeowook’s stomach dropped. It was a mixture of pride and worry and he tried not to let either show in his face as he quietly asked Jooeun to stop crying. She sniffed and rubbed her eye with the back of her hand. Ryeowook reached back and took her hand, squeezing it gently.
Jongwoon pulled the car into their parking space and unbuckled his seatbelt with a click.
They walked silently up the stairs, the two kids in front of them and when they got inside Jongwoon directed both of them to take a seat at the kitchen table. They scurried into their seats and Jongwoon headed to the counter with the comment that he was going to get the kids their snack.
Ryeowook waited until both of them had food in front of them and Jongwoon was cleaning his dishes before he started to talk.
“Haneul.” Ryeowook said gently. “You know you can’t fight someone every time they are mean to your sister.”
“Why not?” He asked, slowly picking into his lunch.
Jongwoon’s shoulders shook as he tried to hide his laughter. Ryeowook was just glad neither child noticed.
“Look how upset she is. You fighting made her this way.”
Haneul shifted in his seat, glancing at Jooeun. “No.” He spoke very quiet and Ryeowook folded his arms over his chest, waiting to see where this was going. “She’s upset. Because of them, and what they said.”
Jongwoon finally turned around, composed for the most part. Ryeowook stepped aside so he could sit between their two children. Jooeun watched with big eyes as Jongwoon carefully put his arm around the chair, pulling it up next to him. Haneul froze and Ryeowook watched as Jongwoon leaned down and whispered something in his ear. Jooeun was watching with big eyes as Haneul slowly relaxed in Jongwoon’s hold. He nodded once, then twice and Ryeowook wished he could hear what he was saying; he hoped Jongwoon wasn’t letting him completely off the hook just because he’d defended his sister.
Jongwoon pulled away for Haneul could look up at him. “Do you understand?”
Haneul nodded, as he shyly said. “Yes dad.”
Jongwoon smiled at him. “Now go clean your room, and start your homework.”
Haneul nodded, getting off the chair. He didn’t start running until after he was out of the kitchen.
“No running.” Ryeowook called, pulling his finger from his mouth as the footsteps slowed. He smiled a little and watched as Jongwoon turned, looking at Jooeun.
She put down her cup and shifted in her seat as she tried to avoid Jongwoon’s gaze but he lifted her up and she let out a small protest before she realized it was hopeless. Ryeowook watched him deposit her on the sofa in the living room, before kneeling down in front of her.
“Now Jooeun.” She tried to back away but Jongwoon was holding her knees. “You know what you did wrong right?”
Ryeowook came into the living room, taking a seat next to Jooeun. She looked up at him and went silent. Ryeowook and Jongwoon shared amused looks.
“Jooeun.” Ryeowook coaxed. “Just tell me.”
She nodded. “They were hurting my brother.”
Ryeowook glanced at Jongwoon. He still wasn’t entirely sure what had happened but he was getting a vague idea.
Jongwoon tsked. “Just because someone else is fighting doesn’t mean you can fight. Especially when you’re so small.”
“They were hurting Haneul.” She said, looking at her hands. “They shouldn’t be hurting him.”
“No they shouldn’t.” Ryeowook agreed. “But you getting involved probably just made it worse.” He hugged her close to him so she knew he wasn’t mad, but she still stared at him, wondering when he could have figured out what had happened. Ryeowook tried to hide his smile as Jongwoon and him traded grins. Despite how stern they should be, the idea that they shared a psychic link was probably something that would teach them a lesson far longer than any punishment.
“Sorry daddy.” She said and she looked into both of their eyes.
Jongwoon smiled at her and offered her a hug. “Now go do clean your room. We’ll call you for dinner.”
She nodded and quickly got off the couch, skipping to her room. Ryeowook sighed as Jongwoon joined him on the couch and he curled up next to him.
“So what happened?”
Jongwoon let out a loud sigh. “During recess someone in Haneul’s class told Jooeun that she wasn’t Haneul’s sister. Jooeun started to cry. Haneul asked him to take it back; he didn’t so Haneul punched the kid. There was a fight and apparently Jooeun stood on the side and tripped anyone else who tried to get involved.”
Ryeowook winced and buried his face in Jongwoon’s chest. “How long are they suspended for?”
“A week.”
Ryeowook let out a sigh and relaxed his hold on Jongwoon’s bicep. “Did you tell Haneul the same thing you told Jooeun?” Jongwoon was silent and Ryeowook glanced up at him. His face broke into a grin. “You told him you were proud of him didn’t you?”
Jongwoon shifted awkwardly, and Ryeowook poked him in the rib. “Jongwoon.” He pouted just in time for Jongwoon to see and it caused him to throw his head back in laughter. Ryeowook let out a laugh as well and tapped Jongwoon’s chest. “You can’t tell him these things. We don’t want him getting into fights.”
“You’re proud too.”
“That’s not the point!” Ryeowook’s protests were cut off but Jongwoon pressing their lips together.
“I love our two kids.” Jongwoon said as he pulled away. “Maybe we should make more.” He wiggled his eyebrow and leaned down for another kiss.
Ryeowook tried to half-heartedly shove him off, succumbed to giggles, before he wrapped an arm around his shoulders and pulling him back down for a kiss. “I love you.”
