Really!? You can't wait to have kids? I wouldn't have pegged you to have that kind of opinion for some reason. Unless this is a new desire for you or I just missed you ever talking this way! I'm unsure whether I want kids and having a partner that really doesn't want kids either makes it harder for me to decide. What I mean is if I were with someone who definitely wanted kids, I would be easily swayed into having them. But since Gary doesn't, it seems like a decision that's more left up to me. Because what if I decide I do want kids one day then I'm gonna be the one trying to convince Gary to let me have them or finding another mate. Who knows...it's a big decision.

No, I've actually always felt this way. And your situation is not easy. When it's something you are not passionate about, it's hard to settle on anything with any sort of conviction, if your partner is not going to help.
