joanna? by god, woman. i was beginning to imagine terrible things like you'd stumbled and fallen into a fjord, wedged there never to return. i almost called your mom in indiana to make sure you were still, well, that you still were, let's say. that said, congratulations because you are going to greece which is something i have never come remotely close to doing, and which sounds fabulous. when do you leave?
alas, i have managed to avoid that fate, seeing as kalamazoo is a little lacking in the fjord department. i am still here, indeed, finishing up my sophomore spring. unfortunately, greece is no longer an option. i have instead opted to call the sunny mediterranean shores of indianapolis my summer home. my goals are to read and earn money for ecuador, where i am headed in mid-august

joanna! sorry it took me so long to answer this. i too am ridiculous at procrastination, as you know. anyway, i am coming home in spetember only to find you gone! to ecuador. while this makes me sad, i am happy to see you starting off to study abroad. in fact, have you already gone? shit. study abroad, what a crazy experience. i wonder how you'll like ecuador. i heard interesting accounts from denise and others. i hope you write in your blog if not personal email-style (somewhat of a pain, especially at jungle-internet cafes). i am itching to get more of those thoughts out of that pretty little head! i don't really use aim, but if i were to start doing it more frequently, can i have your aim address? i think i had it, but maybe i wrote it down wrong. ok, good luck moving to ecuador and lots of love to take with you
