i feel like half the guys here think its just a big fraternity, and the other half think its a monastery. not really feeling like I fit in too well with any of the folks here, and i am hoping that changes once regular classes start in august.

Hi. I'm intriged by a seminarian who digs Velvet Underground & Wilco. Mind if I friend you?

I used to live near the sem & throw parties. Heh heh, while some (ok, TWO) came in body paint, most were a more socially awkward sort. And one seminarian broke up with my beautiful sister because he was considering a vow of celibacy. lol. So I know a handful of returning vicars.

But I bet you'll dig St. Louis. Lots of local bands and a steady stream of musicians. Wilco was there maybe a year and a half ago.

But I do hope you find someplace off campus where you can feel yourself. Cuz seminary's not like other places.

And, seriously, beware of women. I have never met more wanna-be-pastor's-wives than the girls hovering around that campus.
