There was no genuine reason why Obi-Wan should remain here: the earlier he departed, the less of a chance he would offer the island to drag him back in. Anakin was in his office searching for a hard copy of Christopher's preschool application (why did they have to apply for preschool? WHY. The kid was small and excelled at eating pudding and dumping Legos on the floor. He wasn't exactly Georgetown material yet.) when he heard noise from Obi-wan's office.

"Hello, Master," he said with a small smile, poking his head into the open doorway.

Obi-Wan looked up from his insanely well-arranged stack of flimsi. "Anakin," he said. "Good morning."

He totally wasn't happy to see you, Anakin. Really. He was doing the grumpy face!
