I've wanted to write something on this topic for a while...but it's a difficult, sensitive issue...and I've never really had the right opportunity

I have been on both sides of the spectrum, too, and you're right, but I have to say that my skinniness was in part a way to make myself better than more healthy-looking women, so some of that aggression toward me was deserved and even provoked. Who wouldn't hate a size 2 girl complaining about how fattening the food is that you are eating?
I'm at my fellowship right now, but I just wanted to thank you for writing this entry. I'm so sorry I haven't been commenting - I've just been very stressed. But anyway, I completely understand what you are saying. I too have struggled to fit in size 9s (as an eleven year old so that's society's version of overweight) and fallen out of 0s. It's strange because we understand both awful perspectives.
Hey there, Thanks for writing this post. I have always been either overweight and consequently needing larger sizes or of a "normal" size, even when I was suffering from anorexia...perhaps more correctly termed EDNOS. Anyways, I appreciated the size chart from Target or wherever it was from, it helped me to understand what US sizes are actually like. Only problem is, my bust is like a 10, my hips a 6 and my waist a 12 according to their measurements...does that mean I'm going to be totally screwed when I try to buy clothes over there? Wish me luck, I'm going to need it!
I know. I will see girls and say in my head all these things about them like, oh god she is so stupid, but deep deep down I am just so jealous, and if given the opportunity I would take her body in a second. I've never know what it is like ot be on the other side though...
