I tried to file a police report today. called the non emergency line and they told me that I needed to be somewhere in tacoma and wait for an officer to come to me.

So I waited in the denny's parking lot since I don't live in tacoma, for 3 hours and finally gave up and went to work.

I think I'm going to physically go into the precinct tomorrow.

They made me wait that long when my car was broken into - wouldn't have thought they'd do the same for something so much more serious.

You should just go to the police department. They won't be able to ignore you if you make a scene. Which I would. Like:

"I was fucking RAPED last week, and I waiting for some officer to come help me for 3 FUCKING HOURS yesterday, and he NEVER SHOWED. Somebody better fucking listen NOW!!!"

I'm so sorry sugar! Definitely go to the precinct instead of dealing with waiting for a street unit. Make sure to have support. I personally found it harder to have someone else with me when I had to explain it all, but if it works for you to have someone there PLEASE do it
