Hey,

One comment that sticks out in your post:

"Plus he's a little too protective of me...protective is nice....but not to the point where he threatens to beat up every guy who looks at you the wrong way if I give him the look."

This sounds more like controlling than protective. It's certainly not mature or confident. Covering your back when someone is being grabby or invasive is one thing - threatening to mess with anyone that flirts is quite possibly a prelude to abusive behaviour. Please see this column for more info:

Anyways - sometimes the spark isn't there.....and in my experience - it has never occurred after a more serious relationship starts. If the fun wears off quickly, it doesn't sound like you're that into him.

Good luck.

okay....not quite the point I was trying to get across...he doesn't threaten anyone who flirts...he's seen me hug guys, even get kisses...or have guys stick their face in my cleavage, and that doesn't do anything....it was the second he thought I was hurt, that he got really pissed. But thanks, I'll keep aware just the same

Ok - well that's not the same then....it wasn't clear from your original post to me at least. That's more normal behaviour.....

The rest of my post stands though.

Well, you know what I had to say about everything... In the end it's your decision, though. Things will work out in the end regardless of what happens, though, I'm sure.
