Wow hun, that really sucks to hear.

I hope things get resolved and you find out the collection agency fucked up and you get your money back plus get the dated letter of payment and send it of to equifax and TransUnion and get that item removed and your credit score ajusted. Yes its going to be a pain in the ass to settle but it would REALLY help your credit score.

One way or the other if the thing was paid, push to have the collection agency report it to the credit beuro, or to give you the dated letter of payment so you can get it a justed.

I'm not even sure what you just told me to do.....but I'll try. I think I'll do it tomorrow after a good night's sleep. Or at least start on it. I have no idea how to remove anything from my credit score....even if I did....the damage is done, and I think I still have to keep the secured visa. I don't know if after I paid it that they reported it or not....I gave a copy of the payment made to the bank to get the credit card.

I hope we can get together next time....when are you coming up next?

*hugs* No idea but I really want to go to the Fear Factory show on the 1st of December(ticketmaster) so I'll prob be in town that weekend.

The damage can be UNDONE if it was in error, its just a bit of legwork and talking to the people.

Definitely stay civil to the other girl... until you get this resolved THEN kill her... Remember I have a large trunk and some shovels. I KNOW that you have more friends that would love a shovel party.

Try your hardest to be civil with the girl, too... It wasn't your fault, but she'll be more likely to cooperate with you if you try to keep it on relatively good terms. Anger just makes people angry...

I don't know if I was civil or not....I was so pissed off....but I tried calming down at the end of it....even trying to do a light nervous laugh...I don't know if it worked.
