SPN 5x3 In which there are Daddy Issues ALL THE WAY UP! The strippers, the hunters, the angels. I'm thinking we're going to run across God, and he's going to be all "well, I'm looking for father...."
Okay, I officially love the Dean/Castiel comedy hour. The lack of personal space, Cas's deadpan, Dean's "we need to get you laid" plan, and Cas's panicked "but none of these women are you, Dean!" face. Let's all do the math: Dean promised to get Cas laid that night. Plan A did not pan out. But then it's the next morning...and....
Also: Oh, Sammy. Napping with Lucifer. Who then proceeds to go all "hi! I am going to 'enter' you. It's just a matter of time! Because you so clearly have self esteem and daddy issues, and I make a damn convincing creepy, abusive boyfriend."
And everyone's all "Sam, why don't you just LEAVE Lucificer. You can do so much better!" and Sam's "but Luci really cares about me. If I don't let him enter me, no one else will ever want me."
(Erm, how pointy are Sammy's sideburns going to get pointier and pointier as the season progresses? Can we determine Sam's precise levels of emo angst via some sort of sideburn triangulation?)
I also continue to be overly amused by The Vampire Diaries. DAMON = awesomeness. I dug out the first novel, and started it on the way home today. Am happy to report that it is not nearly as embarrassing as I feared it would be!
