:D?

- I find myself oddly saddened by the completely expected and not in the least bit sudden demise of The Young Veins. Sure, there really is no market for 60's pop, and they were likely going nowhere at all, but I've had a lot of emotional investment in them this year. They were sort of the first bandom band I got out and went to see, and sure, they ( Read more... )

RYAN ROSSY OF MY HEART. I love him to a ridiculous extent. #surprise!favorite. IDEK. If Ryan Ross can BE RYAN ROSS, it's all possible, right? ♥_♥

SOOOOO GLAD I got to see them, BOTH TIMES.

STAMPS. Awww. They'll be back. They like the NW and our cities, and they went and bought a van that they seem determined to use.

(I shall tab those both out NOW :D I always think about it at work or on my phone, and that's not useful!)

8 days to the solstice. SUN. I miss you! It's so much easier to deal with the cold when I know every day is longer and brighter, if not actually warmer, than the one before.
SO MUCH WORD! I'm counting down the days as well, cause the lack of light is hitting me harder this year than ever before.

NEED MORE SUN! I still haven't gotten used to the shortness of winter days vs the endless summer afternoons. Moving 1,500 miles directly north is CONFUSING. Plus, we had a dark and rainy summer, so I don't think I managed to bask in the sunlight enough to carry me through.

I know it's just the first day of WINTER, but it feels like a goal or something - that point where I just tell myself that the best way out is through and it'll happen eventually, instead of just wondering why we couldn't have paused at September.

Have also fallen for Hawaii Five-0. It's ridiculous, but pretty, complete eyecandy and happy viewing.

In Bandom news:

Patrick is ageing backwards and now looks like a fey prince.

I have been watching the internet topple to Hawaii Five-O for the last month or so. So much eyecandy!

PATRICK! I'm torn between being FOND of the little fay prince variation, and wanting to track him down and feed him cookies until he looks like Patrick again! I always appreciated that he wasn't exactly a tiny little wispy emo boy-thing, but then, SO TINY....and oddly SHINY. And alabaster. Perhaps he's been spending time with Spencer Smith?

Brothers Way! I think it's the eye contact that gets to me? GUH. We were watching the live stream of that show, and Gerard went from hitting on some boy in the crowd ("Oh, you are fucking cute. I like the nipples") to incestuous chest groping in like 5 seconds. And Mikey ALMOST managed a facial expression. He's all " :| oh, groping :| I LIKE :|". There was some little grinding dance, too.

Plus, MIKEY FUCKING WAY. Exceeding all previously predicted levels of HOT. Gerard is suddenly FAR FAR more FABULOUS than expected, and Mikey's some sort of supermodel.

...grinding you say. Where might one find clips of said grinding if one were so inclined...

Oooh fabulous masks! Those are really awesome.
