We're so spoiled up here in Portland - Kane shows all summer long. Last night me_maneuver and I caught the first Kane show of 2011 out at Duke's bar. (I think they are the official "new home" for Chris's band. It's WAY out on the east side, and I think we stick out like a sore thumb at an actual country bar, but the place is BIGGER and the sound is better, so

ALDIS. That man gets better looking by the hour. It should not be POSSIBLE, but it is true.

We actually won't be at Con Con this year, as it is absurdly PRICEY and on ____BrendonSpencer___ weekend of pure glee, but I hope we get plenty of opportunities to see him about this summer.

You are SO FREAKIN LUCKY!!!! I just saw them for the first time last month when they finally came to Baltimore and they were so awesome! But you get to see them all summer. *vibrates with envy*

Now I feel guilty for whining about them moving to a larger club that is 20 minutes from my house instead of 10 :D We've had a bit on a monopoly on all things Chris Kane for a few years - I think this was my 10th Kane concert?

Though I am SO GLAD he's been on tour, so that other people get to see him, too. There was something he said about going back out on the road in fall. .
