This is mostly just a collected picspam of flail, because seriously. Panic! at the Disco. Wearing things I gave them. ♥_♥
All pics can be clicked for a CLEARER VIEW. Accessories! at the Disco in greater detail FTW!
So, at the Portland show Meet and Greet, I gave the band bow ties. Brendon proceeded to WEAR THE ONE I GAVE HIM at the show that night, and there was flailing, and SO MUCH JOY, because Bden. BOW TIE. WIN. But I sort of figured that he's the sort of NICE GUY who'd wear it for one night because someone bothered to give it to him, and they'd all get tossed into a box of random stuff from fans, never to be seen again. Much to my endless amusement, he KEPT WEARING IT.
At the Boise show (sorry for the crappy pic - did ANYONE get pics from this show?)
And at the Denver Show!
And at Summerfest (AKA, SHOW OF RAMPANT NUDITY! So, I provided Brendon Urie with striptease material! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
But he's not the ONLY one! I brought Ian Crawford a copper w/ white polka dots bow tie. Which has shown up a few places, most notably, Zack's twitter!
Aka the "IAN CRAWFORD, WHUT!" pic. Yeah, that's going to be in every picspam for all time :D
But also, onstage at Summerfest!
And then there's the bracelet I designed and knit for Spencer Smith! PATTERN INCLUDED!
So, Spencer specifically ASKED for handmade friendship bracelets. Which are generally macrame, which I don't really do, but I figured I could manage something with embroidery floss and seed beads and tiny needles. After a few false starts, I ended up with THIS:
(I knit a second one, because MATCHING FRIENDSHIP BRACELET WITH SPENCER SMITH, how could I not?)
Pattern:
Embroidery floss (the thinner stuff, not the heavier plied kind) , pre-strung seed beads, size 1 needles.
CO 5 stitches, leaving a longish (8 inch or so?) tail
k 3 rows
LACE PATTERN
row 1: k1, yo, DD, yo, k1
row 2 &4 : k1, p3, k1
row 3: k2, knit a bead into the center stitch, k2
16 repeats, then k 3 rows, bind off, leaving a longish tail once again.
DD = double decrease. Slip one stitch, k 2together, pass slipped stitch over
For Braided Ties - take remaining string, cut into 4 equal pieces. Thread 2 through each end of the bracelet, one center and one on opposite end of cast one/ bind off tail. Which gives you five strands to braid. A normal three-strand braid works just fine, so it's really two strands + two stands + one strand. Braid 3-4 inches, tie off, trim. Which leaves NO ENDS to weave in \o/
On Spencer:
And finally, if you can look past Brendon's ABS:
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AWESOME!
Speaking of BRENDON, all this talk of clothing could be VASTLY OVER RATED. I'm just saying:
That is all
