Oh man, I haven't seen any music live for years. I forgot how cool and energy filled the experience was.

I think part of it is that these boys are EXTRA SPECIAL - this is at the end of a 90 minute set, and they've STILL got all that power and energy and joy. Plus, they are honestly AMAZING musicians.

But also, YES, there's something about that live experience that is like NOTHING ELSE - zabira and I clung to the barricade 2 nights in a row for this band, and it was over 4 hours of CROWD and SOUND and HEAT, and were still all hopped up on the energy for HOURS and HOURS - we did the 3 hour Seattle-to-Portland drive after the first show and were still WIDE AWAKE at 2:30 am.

IAN. CRAWFORD. just think how YOUNG he is and how much he's going to MATURE as a musician as time goes on. O_o i can't stop watching that high school talent show.

the WHOLE MEAL AGAIN, please? they are just ON FIRE as a band these days and having SO MUCH FUN. i hope someone captures more of this moment ON FILM. DVD, please?

\EVERYONE BEING AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL and WILLIAM BECKETT/

ps. still don't have quite the right ICON for my LIFE right now.

IAN. IAN CRAWFORD. SERIOUSLY. Makes it look easy! There are moments where I wonder if he's BETTER than Toro? Or just as good, but a lot more VERSATILE - there was a song on that Stamps tour where he was just BAM, MANDOLIN (awwwwww).

WHOLE MEAL OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I'm hoping we'll get another full round of US shows before they lock themselves away for album 4? AND this is from the Vegas show, which suggests that we've got PRO-VIDEO being edited from at least 2 shows? MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM FBR? And I love how even professional concert filmmakers can't really keep up with them - there's SO MUCH ENERGY.

\EVERYONE/

\BUT ESPECIALLY WILLIAM BECKETT, HOW IS HE EVEN REAL/

p.s. I don't think the amount of JOY and HOTNESS and MUSICAL AWESOME that is Panic 3.0 can be fully contained in 100x100 pixels.

SO VERY GOOD. Even through youtube, and I don't usually find that video can convey that - I never watch any of the MCR live DVDs.

SOMEDAY YOU SHALL. And Ian will appreciate that! (as would William Beckett....)

Ahahahahahaha. I do so love our TINY EMO BAND KITTENS and how they are emulating the greats of classic rock.

Though, really, PANIC. I've got a feeling that 15 years from now, they are going to be ACTUALLY RESPECTED as rock musicians and there will be a general sense of bemusement over their early "emo" pop-punk albums.

Thanks for the link to that video! Loved it.

Also, you've got a wonky link on that Erik Herr picture. Semi colon in there instead of a colon. http://instagr.am/p/HKYYf/

But I totally agree, AU RayK!

It's EPIC :D. I'm not sure how this hasn't been circulating around the fandom - I think it's the producer's youtube acct? Shane hasn't posted a link, but I ran across it on Tumblr last night, and WOW. AWESOME.

*fixes link* that's what I get for posting at 2 am!
