STILL NOT OVER IT!

1. Due to some presale snafu in my favor, I HAVE TICKETS TO THE PORTLAND FALL OUT BOY CONCERT. There have been a lot of feelings over the past few days!

2. Which coincides nicely with my project for pennyplainknits's fannish craft fest over at I Made a Thing Because I MADE A PETE WENTZ THING. Which was completed on the final day of the hiatus ( Read more... )

Thank you! I really love how the bat ones came out - it's the sort of fannish thing I could wear all the time and most people wouldn't notice.

TICKETS! They weren't supposed to sell them, but they forgot to password the presale. So, TICKETS! I get to do the stressful mass on sale thing trying to grab Salt Lake tickets tomorrow (must remember TIME ZONES), but I am so happy to have the local show taken care of!

Thank you! I've been meaning to actually make something Wentz-batty for quite some time, but I apparently needed fest motivation.

TICKETS!

Those are so gorgeous and so PRECISE, I'm just in awe! And they look incredibly soft and cozy, too. Beautiful! And what fantastic timing!

FALL OUT BOY IS REWARDING YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD CONCERT-GOING WORK. THIS IS THE BEST. ♥

I am really amused by the repetitive lines on the traditional textile pattern + fannish logo mitts. I'm contemplating something with the Killjoys spider, though those legs are LONG.

When I woke up on Monday, THIS BAND WAS ON INDEFINITE HIATUS. Three days later, we've got a band and a song and a video and a tour and I've got tickets. Pete Wentz really knows how to create a sense of excitement!

(also, how awesome is Conventional Weapons 5!!?!?!. Ray Toro needs to call me)

I love these knitty things! I don't knit, but now I wish that I did.

And I got tickets early, too! On Wednesday evening on a whim I clicked through from the Roseland's website, and I couldn't believe they let me buy! I keep checking my bank account to see if the charge has gone through, because I'm still paranoid that they're going to revoke the tickets, or something. DO NOT TAKE BACK MY TICKETSES. But, assuming it's all good, the girls and I will be there! :D :D :D

Thank you! It's a hobby I picked up in college for some reason, and I am sort of surprised that it stuck, since I was never crafty before!

My tickets were IN THE MAIL yesterday. So I am going to chose to believe it is true. I went by tickets west on Wednesday at 10 to see if they were posting ticket limits, and was shocked that they let me buy them. I've heard that the same thing happened with Seattle (it sold out before it was supposed to go on sale), so I think the venues are going to honor the tickets, even if they weren't supposed to sell them.

So :D :D :D. SEEING FALL OUT BOY IN JUNE. ALL OF FANDOM WILL BE THERE! IT WILL BE GLORIOUS.

(I keep seeing a rumor that Panic might open. Which I don't really think will happen, but it would be nice to see Brendon and Spencer again!)

They were super fun! And I thought the argyle sort of made them stealth McShep mittens. I might need to figure out some sort of SG1 thing, perhaps with Egyptian hieroglyphs. Eventually. SO MUCH STRING. And these are made with very tiny needles!

We've been rewatching SGA lately - I think we've finally gotten to a place where it's just really enjoyable, instead of disappointingly OVER.
