You got to think about the winter time when you cannot ride your bike and how earlier it gets dark.

Yes, well, I rode over there to see exactly how long it'd take me, and as I suspected, the club had move twice as far to a "more convenient" location. Plus, factoring in how tired I usually get after a shift at Sam's plus winter weather, yes, transferring there would be dumb.
