I had a difficult experience (for me)  with a friend of mine today - I feel really bad about it in large part b/c it confirmed that she has had difficulty in the past getting pregnant, and it's not really something you ask, so it's hard to find out b/c it's been so easy for me.  She was very kind and tactful and I know I was also, it was just one

I think it's hard b/c it's not like you can fix it nor are you responsible for her limitations and yet it's still important and good to celebrate your pregnancy too. I think there isn't much in life where we sort of need to have a duplicity (not sure if that's the right word?) of emotions that doesn't need a resolution either way.
