DOCTOR WHO=BEST EVER.

It's my inner Star Trek nerd, I swear. I'm such a sucker for corny sci-fi.

I have never watched Star Trek, but I suspect I would like that too, if it has lots of hand-holding. Does it have hand-holding? Seriously, ZOMG the hand-holding.

LOL, Star Trek was a phase of my childhood that I usually choose to pretend didn't exist. I don't think there was hand-holding, unfortunately.

Have you been watching episodes with Nine or Ten? Or both?

So far, I'm about 2/3 of the way through series one, so just the Nine episodes, although I know how it ends, because I could not wait until I finished, because I had to find like, hand-holding fanfic becuase I HAVE PROBLEMS, OKAY? so now I am sort of filled with anxiety and yet cannot stop watching.

How much have you seen? Doctor Who became my obsession after the end of Veronica Mars.

I'm in series one now. I cheated and went straight to the Captain Jack episodes. Then I was all, "Um, this is kind of awesome," and started over at the beginning. I just finished "The Long Game", so I think I have one more before I get to watch the Captain Jack episodes again.

I'm already spoiled out to East Jesus, because, you know, I had to go and read fanfic and whatnot, but I'm still into it, even though I have this sense of FOREBODING.

Ah. Series one. It's still my favorite, mainly because of Nine and Rose and their need to hold hands and gaze at each other with looks of longing and desire and have intense chemistry with each other at all times. Their love fills my heart with glee. And then Captain Jack comes along and just adds to the awesome.

The hand holding from like, MOMENT ONE. It kills me and the resurrects me with glee. But I have other things that I love, like the jukebox, and how in 5 billion years thy think it is an iPod, and then I feel clever for loving something on a level that is not JUST the handholding level (although I love that, too.)

I started with the Capt. Jack episodes, then started over from the start, and just finished The Long Game, so I'm 2/3ds-ish through series one. But I have allowed myself to be spoiled by poking around on the intarwebs.

I have never cried over a piece of fiction more than I did watching that show. My love for it cannot be textually rendered.

I am loving it so much, because for the first time in a long time, it is making me think about actually writing again, because it is getting me out of my weird headspace where all I think about is work. Now, instead, all I think/talk about is time travel. (It helps that me new BFF at work is also a sci-fi dork, so all we do is geek out about various sci-fi all the time. Except he likes Journeyman, and I find it boring, so I just make fun of him about that.)

Hi! Long time lurker, first time commentor. You brought up my favorite show so I have to be all over it. I can only speak for myself but I adore the second series even more. If you are leaning towards the Doctor/Rose ship, please come talk to me!

Oh! Hello! I am always glad when my newfound obsessions provide new friends.

Yes, I am currently all about Nine/Rose. Although, Nine/Jack/Rose or any various permutation works for me. (Though, mostly I am currently 'shipping Jack with myself.) I haven't gotten to any Ten episodes yet, though.

The queue starts around the block, down the road, across the bridge....

Oh, just wait! Ten is MY (and many many others) Doctor. He and Rose are just adorkable and shiny and totally my OTP. I love Doctor/Rose but Ten/Rose is my peference. (And if you love the Ten/Rose, I hereby totally pimp all my fanfiction, found conviently at my LJ! *is a sad pathetic person in need of validation*)

I will cut to the front of that line, even if I have to throw elbows! I am not tremendously well-mannered.

I will definitely be getting though to the Ten episodes just as quickly as my schedule possibly allows! And I shall go ahead and bookmark your fic for the day when that arrives! I am always in favor of new fic for me/validation for all.
