I love how human Michael was tonight. It was so nice to not hate Michael for once. Normally I cringe through his scenes, but not in this episode. I wish the writers would make him sympathetic more often.
I LOVE what they are doing with the Jim/Pam relationship. They are pure adorableness and I never want it to change.
OHMIGOD NEW FAVORITE LOVE TRIANGLE. The Office is officially the only show where I don't hate the triangles, at least this season.
I am such a cringe-r during the Michael scenes, but I barely needed to squinch my eyes shut and put my fingers in my ear this week AT ALL.
They do the triangles so well, because the characters are so real and human and flawed and vulnerable. I actually liked the dynamic with Karen last season. It was just so MESSY, and you kind of couldn't help but like or have sympathy for everyone.
YES KATE EXACTLY. All these people at TWoP were like "shark jumping!" and I was all, ARE YOU BLIND? THIS WAS FANTASTIC. everything was note-perfect: the bleakness of life for some, the joy for others. I cried when I realized Michael had taken a second-job and was hiding it from everyone. Like, actual tears. And then was happy at how popular he was (my theory is that it's because of two reasons - both him not being their boss, and also the job sort of being, for some, this way to earn spending money. at least for the kids, who are the ones who liked him. so michael's affability is easy to like in that setting, but not so much when he's your boss and you just want to get through the day so you can collect your paycheck and put your kid through school, or whatever

Darryl? Totally made me feel dunny in my ladyparts last night. Those two are like, the new hottest couple on TV. It made me come over all swoony.
Aww, I haven't been over to TWoP, and I think I'll avoid it now. Because I thought this episode was damn near flawless. I had this empathy for every single character last night. It was a beautiful thing.
That was such an amazing episode. I want to find out who wrote it and send them roses. Chocolate roses. Giant chocolate roses studded with diamonds. I did love Michael at his second job. You can see how he got to be who he is. He was the top sales guy, really popular and funny. And then he was promoted by someone who couldn't see that he was best where he was, the king of the little guys.
I LOVE DARRYL. He is the Barry White of the paper industry. Smooth, cool, and totally on top of his shit. Goddamn, go Darryl! I love how she stfu's when he tells her to calm down. She's such a crazy ho, and he knows that but loves her anyway.
The PB&J this episode was amazing. Did you see that when they said "you'll never want to leave your bed" that they'd PUSHED THE BEDS TOGETHER?

Clearly, watching this after a 14-hour workday yesterday made me miss the details.
I so have a crush on Darryl now. He is so even-keeled.

Also, I love that they made the beet farm a reality. I wanted it to be real so badly, and it is now. It's a Raddishon Inn. Yay!
