Rejection really sucks. I've my first real taste of it that held any real significance to my future. It's not really a big deal (One of the agents didn't want to see the manuscript...she said it didn't go along with what she represents), but it still sucks. I have three more to hear back from before I send more letters out, but I just have that

Not "going along with what she represents" isn't so bad. It makes sense, like different music labels sign different kinds of bands. She didn't say that the work was bad! That's a good sign I'm sure

She didn't actually read the book. Her decline was based on the synopsis I sent her earlier in the week, but yeah...I know what you mean.
