[ Good morning, Mayfield! It is a lovely day, but not for one particular child. After waking up in a strange bed and with different attire, Alois didn't panic. He was fine. He then discovered that he was no longer in his mansion but in a foreign house that he had never seen before. He was still fine. Was he kidnapped or something? I mean--he

But he promised he wouldn't leave me---

You can't always believe what you're told. People are liars.

He wouldn't lie to me...[ Ahh, blind trust. ] I don't even know how I got here...

[ He reaches out to lightly pull at the boys arm, trying to raise him to his feet. ]
Come inside and I'll explain, alright? The neighbors are staring at you.

[ He muttered bitterly, but he didn't resist when the boy tried to guide him inside the house, merely following him while wiping his cheeks dry. ]

[ He gestures towards the table in a "sit down" gesture, sighing. Then he trots across the kitchen to grab a glass and pour the blond some water. ]
First off, [ He places the water down in front of him. ] what's your name?

[ He breathed out as he settled on the chair. He watched as the boy offered him a cool glass of water, a bit uncertain. ]
Do you live here too?

Aoyagi Ritsuka.
I do. [ He takes his own seat, having gone back to grab a glass of juice for himself, and sipping at it gingerly. ] The easiest way to say to is to tell you you've been kidnapped. Someone takes us from our "worlds" and brings us here, Mayfield. It's America in the 1950's, and according to this town we're brothers. [ He frowns deeply for a moment at that, but it's gone as soon as it appears. ]
Everyone who wasn't kidnapped is a drone. They act like on the weird stuff going on is normal, so you might want to avoid them. They're really annoying. You're required to go to school every day, or you get droned for a while and become one of them. If you cause trouble, you'll get droned. You might get droned for the hell of it.
Every little while weird stuff happens. The town changes, or monsters attack, or the milk gets poisoned or something, so try to be careful. If you die, you'll get brought back to life, but you'll be droned for a ( ... )

By the time he finished, Alois had crossed his arms against the surface of the table and dipped his head lower. Almost as if he didn't want to hear more.
This--can't be happening. Everything is ruined. Everything. ]
That's enough. [ He hissed under his breath. Clearly he had no other questions on mind. ]
I'm 14. I just-- [ He suddenly started laughing loudly, he then stopped--and tossed the glass of water against the wall. ] That's some shitty luck we have, don't you agree? [ His lips curled up. ] Tell me, Ritsuka. How can we leave this fucking town?
Reply
You can't. You only leave if they want you to.
And could you not act like a child and throw things around? This isn't <>really our stuff.

[ With his palms pressed against the table, Alois rose off his chair as literally took a breather. This is bad. He can't stay here, he needed to go back.
Moving closer, he grabbed into Ritsuka's wrist and yanked hard--urging him to look up to him. ]
There must be someone who can help! Someone I can talk to.

He knows better than to try jerking away. When someone is becoming violent, the best thing to do is remain still and not provoke them, Seimei has said. And so he did. ]
There isn't. You don't think everyone here has tried already? There are people who have been here for years, 'cause no one knows how to get out.

His digits twisted and tugged on that wrist. It was meant to inflict pain and not fracture any bones. Not yet. ]
My, you really are useless, aren't you?
Reply
No more than you are. Actually, since you just got here you're more useless than I am.

[ Another twist and an audible crack would be heard. A fair warning. ]
