We are home and we are safe. We lost our cars and some of our personal belongings but after some interesting (and entertaining, can we say "snorkel-bus") times, we've all arrived home in our rentals and are starting to catch up with loved ones, friends, baths and sleep ( Read more... )

Lol i'm not going to lie, there were a couple top hats and a bowler hat on our refugee heads. And just wait till we get video of our bus being outfitted with a snorkel.

And suuuuper sorry about the cars and belongings:(. Have you guys talked to anyone about what to do about getting gov't help to maybe offset some of the cost?

Thank ya kindly. If I don't have a new ride set up by the next meeting I'll definitely be callin on ya'll. Fortunately, you're a really local call.

As near as we can tell, we're SoL on gettin government assistance. Even though it's a natural disaster we were out of towners so we don't count as real people. Or some silliness.

and LOL I fully expect the gear to look like it escaped from 20,000 leagues under the sea. Which is a good thing, i suppose.
