I have made a few important decisions regarding my practice while on my trip to the mainland for some new products and supplies. To my patients, nothing will have changed and I trust that you are all satisfied with my part time office assistant.

Honestly? You'll let me help? I'm certainly not happy that you've become injured, but I'm thrilled at the opportunity to get some more hands on experience working with you. If you ever need assistance when I'm not there feel free to contact me through the quills or to send a runner.

I actually really will need your help, luckily there are no surgeries planned for this week. I think once the swelling goes down I will be more dexterous again. You were hoping for experience, and it seemed fate smiled at you.

And I'm quite looking forward to being your hands and learning directly from you. Much more challenging and interesting than patient charts.

Exactly why I am wanting to just hire someone. I know little of children, only how to help in bringing them into this world and tending to medical ailments. And knowing they climb like monkeys on office furniture.
