I'd say as I'm as lost as you are, but the Sorting Hat is never wrong, so if he's here, it's for some reason, even if the rest of the school is scratching their collective head and trying to figure out what the hell that reason IS.

Besides, he's hardly the only one in our House with a knack for things that go boom.
