Unfortunately love is not always accompanied with a happy ending. As perfect as we may believe our relationships to be, there's usually always something missing, unbeknownst to the party who thought it was perfect to begin with. I'm sorry to hear of your loss and hurt and can relate all too well. If she is worth it, which she appears to be, fight for her. Fight for her hard and make sure she knows that breaking up is not an option. I can only wish that someone would fight for me in a situation such as this. I sincerely hope you beat the odds of the rest of us and find your happy ending (not the kind you get after a massage - get your mind out of the gutter!)

Thanks for taking the time to write, I truly do appreciate it. Thankfully, we have saved things and, a few moments of angsty panic aside, I do believe we will be ok for the forseeable future. Reconciliation can be a startlingly beautiful thing.

That's a tough break. I've been in this exact situation and it's hard, especially when all you want to be able to do is listen, talk, and figure it out, but you can't. Maddening! I had the same feelings, said/wrote the same things you wrote here, and had the same worries, even down to the Facebook anxieties; "They wrote on someone's wall, but didn't write me back? Why?". I deleted my account for a while. My ex said I was crazy, and I thought I was going insane as well, but heartbreak makes people do and say some pretty out of character and bizarre type of stuff sometimes, so you sound like you're heartbroken to me, rather than crazy. Keep your head up no matter what happens, because life is full of new beginnings! Random post from a stranger, but I thought maybe it'd feel like someone was listening.
Positive thoughts being sent your way! Now, back to the Limerick FC site.

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave a message, it means an awful lot to me that somebody would take the time to lend their support as you did. Thankfully we have reconciled and appear to be back on the track we were previously so comfortable on. While only time can tell where we will end up I feel better knowing that I have been given a chance to make this work.
PS) Both my girl and I have deleted our facebook accounts, it wasn't a joint decision, it just felt right though.
