Summary: Some days are better than others.
Staring out the window, Mir listened as the rain drummed against the building, filling the room up with soft smooth pattering. He watched as all different colored umbrellas passed by, moving on with their life on the outside while he was stuck, confined at the hospital. He reached out, tracing the outlines with his fingers as markings seeped onto the cool glass before fading away only a few seconds later.
The door opened but the young boy made no movement to see who it was or any gestures to even show that he knew someone else was in the room. Within seconds, his bed dipped down, arms wrapped around his thin frame, causing his body to tense. He didn't want to be touched by anyone, not even his best friend but he was too tired to even push the other away, instead, he just sat there, rigid in the other's embrace.
Joon rested his chin on Mir's shoulder, sliding his hand against the other's arm in a comforting manner, his voice lowered, as if talking to a child - something which the younger boy hated and loved at the same time, "Chulyong… the nurse said you're still refusing to eat. You need food to get better"
"Hyung.." Mir croaked out, only to clear his throat before trying again, staring at his hands, "I'm not getting better. I'm dying and no one can do anything about it."
Mir could feel the other's hold tighten around him, he didn't say anything as Joon buried his face into his neck. However what he didn't expect was to get bitten, hard. A loud yelp left his lips as he tried to pull away from the wannabe vampire, "What the hell hyung!?!?!"
Looking at the patient with a serious expression, he exclaimed, "Now you belong to me for eternally. You're never going to die" Though Joon wasn't really a vampire, tears started to fill up in the young boy's eyes. He wanted to spend forever with the other as well.
"Don't be stupid…"
The duo just sat there for the rest of the day, just staring out the window.
