Fast Forward: Adele - Someone Like You
The pianist's fingers danced against the keys as everyone else in the room turned towards the huge door, waiting for the beautiful bride to walk down the aisle. Standing up at the front, Uchi forced himself to look up as well. He couldn't help but force a smile when he saw her. Ai-chan was an amazing person. She was nice, funny, understanding but she wasn't a pushover either. She was able to fight her own battles when needed. There's just so many things about her that made the people in the room fall in love with her, sadly, he wasn't one of them. And how he wished the man next to him didn't either.
With every step she took, his heart clenched tighter. The pain built up inside of him but there wasn't anything he could do to stop it. There was no way of stopping the man he loved from marrying someone else.
Tears rolled down his face as the couple were finally standing side by side. It didn't matter if he cried or not, no one would suspect anything, he was known to be a cry baby anyways, and this was one of those times he really didn't mind that nickname. His heart pounded loudly against his chest, he could still stop the wedding, to object and it would be over. He knew without his consent, Ryo wouldn't marry her. Which he had given, even though he didn't mean it.
Uchi waited, his fingers curling as he watched the pair exchange their vows. Holding each other's hand, Uchi caught the way she stared back at Ryo, with so much love and happiness. And Ryo, he looked so happy, his face gleaming. Before he knew it, the wedding was over. Uchi had missed his chance, just liked all those times before. Once again, he was a coward. He watched the back of the couple walking towards the door and there was nothing he could do. It was over for them.
Rewind: Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
The duo laid in the grass, finally calming down from laughing so hard. As their voices died down, their breathing even, a comfortable silence filled the air. They didn't need to talk all the time. The years they've known each other, there were days where they could talk endlessly, and quiet days that spoke just as much.
Ryo reached out his hand, taking Uchi's within in. Their fingers interlaced, Hiroki's fingers were longer and slimmer than his but somehow they still managed to fit nicely, perfectly. Things Ryo couldn't say, Uchi knew. Turning his head away from the endless sky, Uchi stared over at Ryo, giving his hand a tight squeeze, "I love you too."
And the two just stayed there, staring up at the night sky as the fast-paced world continued. They just enjoyed the moment. Tomorrow will come, today is here but you'll never get back yesterday.

Their shouting filled the whole apartment, things thrown, glasses shattered, hurtful words said. Both of them were crying but there was no way to take back the words, the hurt.
Ryo stared back at Uchi with disbelieving eyes before finally swallowing, his pride and everything else hurt. "Fine." WIthout grabbing anything, he stormed out of the room and out of the house, door slamming behind him. Echoing. Uchi wanted to reach out, to stop Ryo from leaving but he didn't. He was scared of getting burned again.
Uchi crumbled down to the ground, his lonely sobs filled the room, their room. He wished it was him that left instead. Now, he was the surrounded by everything that was them. Their memories, their life, their love. And it only made the pain worse.
