The passions, in an ordered brain, are below reason because we share at least some of them with animals, but are not opposed to it. Reason and logic are also not the same thing - your reason can support what your emotions tell you without necessarily having logical proof.
Also, if we universify your moral system, it would break down when we tried to apply to beings other than you.
1) Do you think you are destined to be happy? 2) What do you find most interesting about other people? 3) If you could teach one class on the university level, what would it be? 4) Favorite TV Show of all time, and why? 5) Your opinion on drugs, prescribed and not.
1) What do you think you're gonna be doing in a year? 2) If you were to only publish one thing in your life, what would it be? 3) Do you think that PC was worth it? 4) If you think that scientific literacy is so important, why didn't you choose a science based major? 5) What's your opinion of popular fiction?
1) Got a lot of this from aunts and uncles yesterday. It doesn't matter what I'll be doing in a year. I'm not looking for a career, just a job. The goal is to get to the point of self-sufficiency, then worry about what I'm actually going to do with myself.
2) This question will only be meaningful in hindsight. I don't know what I'll write during my life. I like to imagine that my best work is something I'll dream up thirty or forty years in the future.
3) PC was not the right choice for me, but it certainly wasn't the worst choice. I'm cynical about education, because I hit a point in junior year where I felt I'd gotten as much out of it as I was going to, and since then I've been bitterly going through the motions, but I think I'd have reached that point no matter where I went. My social life does not make up for this, either: I have like eight or nine friends, and we never do anything but talk shit about each other behind each other's backs. But again, I doubt this would have been much better anywhere else. It's more down to me

1) Why do you think we fell apart? 2) If you could recommend one book to me, what would it be? 3) Why have you fallen out of posting on DL? 4) What is your opinion of Canada's medical system? 5) What is the best form of government and why?

1) Why do you feel the need to avoid any identification with the South rather than defend it? 2) Why do you feel the need to care so much about everything, even things that don't directly concern you? 3) Lord of the Rings...why? Why so much, so many times? 4) What philosophy do you think most accurately describes you? Why do you like, or dislike it?

I find your lack of Aristotle disturbing.
Resistance is futile. Especially to Thomism.
