Ok, I went and let the doctor push my insides out through my back..er... I mean, examine me.

He is fairly certain it is not my appendix, he thinks I have a hernia. Lovely.
I can barely move right now, he is giving me 48 hours to see if the pain subsides, if it doesn't I am to go directly to the ER and be admitted. Fuck.

I'm proud of you for going. You did the right thing. Now you know what you're dealing with. There is a light at the end of the pain tunnel now. Surgery may not be the best thing but you know it will solve the problem and get rid of the pain.

and the repair surgery leaves only a teeny tiny scar and is outpatient procedure. you do not want to let your guts be hanging out through a hole. if they get too tight in the hole, and circulation is cut off the tissue can die. then you would get to be like Eric's crazy ex wife who had "45 feet of her colon taken out". you do what the doctor said. and if you dont I will beat you with a shoe.

Glad we could guilt you into going to the doctors.

I hope it goes away on its own, but if it is hernia, I hope you deal with it soon. Outpaitent surgery isn;t too bad, although you'll be really sore for a long time.
