I'm really jealous of people who are about 5 years ahead of me financially and are getting amazing deals on houses right now. Like $100,000 for a 2 bedroom house in a decent part of Riverside. Geeeeeez!! No wonder people complain so much about the process, I had no idea. I also heard that starting in January, even Europeans have to get a visit just to VISIT the US. At least traveling is so cheap, I'm jealous!!

Yeah, I just heard about that from the US embassy. It's not a visa exactly. It's like they have to register online and get approval to be able to travel to the US. Cristóbal is pissed. The only good thing is I think once you do it, it's good for a couple years.

i totally know how you feel about the buying a house thing. i thought i was on my way to that in the next few years but im back at ground zero right now. oh well.

Haha no kidding about the time difference. I always want to call people during the day when I'm at home and Cristóbal's at work, but that happened to be the middle of the night there.
