I opened Dreamwidth to post because I'm feeling a little pissed off, to be honest. Well, not a little at all. A whole hell of a lot, actually, but now that I'm actually here, I'm not so sure I can be bothered. *hands* Ugh, I mentioned it, so I might as well not be completely cryptic about it.

Though my mother is definitely pushing me to leave. I'm just sure that would cause more grief than staying put.

*hands* Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Damned if you do:
1. There will be Drama with a capital D. You will be part of this Drama. It will last for 6 months and then some, because she doesn't seem like the type to let things go. Princess types are like that.
2. This will cause all sorts of stress for you. As someone who has been through many wedding plannings for friends who were actually friendly with me, there will be stress if you are part of the party. If you are not part of the party, there will not be stress.
3. You could actually lose Crystal's friendship over this. See points 1 and 2. Six months of drama and stress close up and personal.
Damned if you don't:
1. Crystal is pissed at you for a while.
2. Nope. Can't think of another reason other than your extreme sense of loyalty, you stupid Hufflepuff. (Yeah, that's right, I dropped an HP reference.)
Is your mother pushing you to leave the wedding stuff alone or pushing for you to leave town? I support both!

I am thinking about leaving, but first I have to weigh whether or not that's going to cause more problems than staying.

Understandable. I think my largest concern would be the BFF's reaction, which could be vile, me thinks.
Bad situation all around, for sure. :(
Good luck, hon.
