Well it has been a while...

So Here is something for Ves with Love.  Edited forever ago by the lovely Darkauroran.

Iruka cursed and ran.  Goddamn it all to hell, whose bloody brilliant idea had it been for him to deliver lupines during the damn werewolf mating season?  He could still feel the pack behind him, some of them having dropped off after Iruka’s last trick. The pepper had discouraged a few but he had the feeling he was going to need more than that to get rid of the more stubborn ones.  He changed course again, ducking beneath a very smelly bush and then shaking it hard in good measure.  He pulled a wind from above, swirling it around to hide his scent.

Changing directions, Iruka ran for the river, hoping to make the waterfall and cross, out of the werewolves’ territory.  Iruka was only a minor mage, possessing enough magic to grow a good herbal garden -- more of a kitchen witch he supposed -- but, well, he did take after his mother more than his father.

Damn the wolves were getting closer again, he had hoped the stink bush would throw them off, but the alpha was a damn stubborn bastard.  Iruka ducked under a couple of low hanging branches, before sighting the river.  It was still a quarter mile sprint before he could reach its safety.  He caught up a few plants he recognized, muttering words over them as he ran and dodged low under trees.  He hoped he didn’t have to use this last spell, but if he couldn’t make the river this would be his last chance for protection. He saw a flash of silver to his left and flung himself just out of reach of the outstretched claws, throwing his collected plants and yelling the last word of a spell as he fell.

Iruka heaved for breath, trapped and protected beneath the oversized thorn bush.  His little cubby hole was safe enough, for now.  He could hear the alpha prowling around outside, occasionally testing the strength of the magical bush.  Iruka finally managed to calm his breathing and sat up as best he could. He was startled to see the alpha staring at him amused through the thorns.

“Isn’t it a bit foolish to trap yourself instead of me?”

“Isn’t it a bit foolish to chase a mage, a male mage at that, during mating season?” Iruka demanded impatiently.

“We don’t distinguish between genders, you ran, I chased,” the alpha answered flippantly.

“You’re telling me that if I’d stood my ground you wouldn’t have tried to kill me?” The disbelief in Iruka’s voice was lacing the heavy sarcasm of his words.

“I had no intention of killing you,” the alpha purred, “but I would have fought for you. So I suppose either way there would have been bloodshed.”

“I’m male.” Iruka felt the pressing need to point out the obvious.  “Aren’t you supposed to find some woman to chase, get pregnant, and raise kids with?”

“Kids are overrated.  Sex, on the other hand, definitely isn’t.”  The alpha sat down and grinned, lazily stretching out in a way that left Iruka no doubt to the alpha’s current state of arousal.

“Shouldn’t you at least know the person you’re propositioning?”  Iruka was getting snappy now.  Really, how arrogant could the damn wolf be?

“I scented you, little one.  You smell of herbs, spices, and of warmth.  I like the way you smell.  Especially now; all hot, bothered, and a touch angry.  You are like the warmth of a summer thunderstorm, electric and sweet and definitely dangerous, but I can’t help but dance under it.”

Iruka stared at the man and wondered if he’d lost his mind.  The werewolf turned and smiled at him, a rather hot, charming smile.

“I’m Kakashi, alpha of the Konoha pack.  And I chose you to mate, Iruka.”

“How do you know my name?” Iruka was startled by the leer Kakashi gave him, the fact Kakashi knew him, and the way the alpha smoothly rolled to his hands and knees and moved towards him like liquid sex.

“You introduced yourself right before I pounced.”

The alpha stopped short of the thorns, turned and growled. His form morphed more towards wolf than human, becoming a seven foot tall warrior who faced an interloper emerging from the forest with a snarl.

“Mine,” Kakashi growled, warning the other wolf that a claim had been made.

“You hold no claim, your scent isn’t on him,” the intruder snarled back.  Iruka shrunk back in his bush, quietly reinforcing the thorns as the two werewolves circled each other.  This did not bode well for anyone.

True combat isn’t all grace and form.  It isn’t a beautiful dance like they show in movies and films.  It is bloody, violent, and all things terrifying.  Iruka closed his eyes and prayed for it to be over quickly, and that maybe, just maybe, Kakashi wouldn’t be too badly hurt.  He heard the telltale howl of the winner chasing the defeated from the clearing and opened his eyes nervously.  There was blood staining the ground but it didn’t look too bad.  Minor wounds, or so Iruka hoped.

He looked around and found Kakashi moving back toward him, blood staining his muzzle as he howled his triumph.  All others fled before his ferociousness and he had returned to claim his prize.

“You won,” Iruka stupidly told him.  “Uhm, congratulations.”

“You can congratulate me by coming out of there,” Kakashi said, voice deeply primal from his transformation.

“Uh, not happening,” Iruka stuttered.  “You want to mate and all that.”

“Don’t you know that’s the fun part of this?” Kakashi grinned as his features lost their wolf edge, returning to their more human nature.

“Is that even possible between two men?” Iruka supposed it was since he had male friends who claimed they rather enjoyed it, but
he hadn’t cared to figure out the logistics.  He was torn between curiosity and trying to figure out a way to the river without Kakashi catching him.

Oh wait, was that blood on the alpha’s side?

“You are bleeding,” Iruka murmured, distracted.

Now Kakashi didn’t become the alpha for nothing.  He was not only the strongest of his pack but also the smartest.  A right genius if you asked him, a smart assed pain if you asked Kakashi’s second who wasn’t there to warn Iruka of the dangers of trusting his alpha farther than you could throw him.

“What? Where?” Kakashi yelped, injecting just a bit of whimpering into his voice.  He turned slightly pale and swooned a bit as he put his hand to his side and it came away bloody.  Truthfully he endured worse scratches from training but his little mate-to-be didn’t need to know that.  Not the way Iruka was frowning and chewing at his lip with worry.  Kakashi threw in another whimper of pain, before wincing and trying to hide it.  Not an easy acting feat but, well, he was a genius.

“How bad is it?” Iruka asked, trying to get a better look at the wound from his protective canopy of thorns. “Is there medical assistance nearby?”

“It’s just a scratch,” Kakashi faked a pained shrug.  “Nothing to fret about, love.”
‘Hook,’ he happily thought.

“Are you sure?” Iruka didn’t look quite convinced.

“Really,” Kakashi smiled overly brightly at him, taking a step and limping just a bit.
‘Line,’ he gleefully chortled internally.

“You’re limping.” Iruka was really fretting now.  The alpha was injured, and it was from sort of protecting him, even though Iruka hadn’t asked to be protected nor chased to be mated. But still, Kakashi was kind of handsome and he did fight to defend Iruka’s virtue, albeit for himself.

Iruka didn’t realize he had moved out from under the thorn bush until he was ordering the alpha to sit down and let him clean the wound.

‘Sinker,’ Kakashi howled internally in triumph.  He let the pretty little mage do his job, submitting to the  washing and wrapping of his minor wound, before he struck.

Iruka had just finished repacking his bag when he found himself thrown over the alpha’s shoulder and carried off like a sack of potatoes.

“Hey!” he yelled, pounding on the obviously unmoved alpha’s back.

“Don’t worry, love,” Kakashi patted Iruka’s ass happily, “just moving us to a much more friendly location for the fun part.”

“What fun part?” Iruka yelped.  “I don’t recall agreeing to any of this.”

“You were caught,” Kakashi shrugged.  “Your running was your agreement.”

“What?” Iruka struggled but really it was like trying to move a wall.

“So now we get on to the fun mating part of life,” Kakashi sighed happily.

“I can’t just mate with you.  What about my house and my business?” Iruka decided that two could play at the fake game.  He hoped his father would forgive him, but really he did take after his mom after all.  He allowed the tears of frustration to flow, knowing the alpha would scent them quickly.  “What about my life?” he wailed, doing a fair impression of his mom when his dad was just being a bit too much for her and she was done trying to be reasonable.

“Shh, calm down.” Kakashi quickly switched his pretty mate to a princess hold, trying to comfort him while continuing to head home at a swift trot.  “When the worst of mating season is over I’ll have my men move all your things to my place.”

“But my plants and my garden,” Iruka wailed.  Really everything he used was already in pots and hadn’t been planted since spring wasn’t quite upon them, but the alpha didn’t need to know that.

“Shh, sweetheart.  We will bring all your cuttings and such too.  I have a lovely place you can garden with.”

‘Or maybe he did know,’ Iruka grumbled internally while Kakashi continued to comfort him.

“It had better be a good plot or the deal is off,” Iruka grumped. The damn alpha just wasn’t letting him find a chance to slip away.

“If it isn’t, I’ll make it good,” Kakashi promised, nuzzling Iruka’s temple.  “After all, it’s my important job to see to your heart’s every little desire.”

“Drop me off on the other side of the river,” Iruka tried hopefully.

“Except let you go,” Kakashi grinned.  “Sorry, that is no longer an option.”

“Shouldn’t you be, like, mating to bear children and increase pack strength?” Iruka countered.

“Adoption isn’t a bad thing.  After all, someone needs to be able to take in those who have lost all family,” Kakashi answered reasonably.  “And I get the feeling you’ll make a great mom.”

“Why am I the mom?” Iruka yelped.  “I’m male here too if you hadn’t noticed.”

“Oh I noticed,” Kakashi leered cheerfully.

“Pervert.” Iruka blushed.  “But really, isn’t smell a bad thing to make a life decision on?”

“Smell is everything to a wolf,” Kakashi shrugged as he opened the door to his home, carrying Iruka across the threshold and straight into his bedroom.

“Really?” Iruka wondered.  “I can’t smell very appetizing after that stinky bush.”  He smiled. “So if you just put me down I’ll be on my way and you can find someone who smells more appealing.”

“Nice try,” Kakashi laughed, “but you still smell wonderful, like a sweet tempered summer storm, lightening and home.  As for the other scents, perhaps we should start with a bath then if you’re so worried about smelling good for me.”

“If I wasn’t so magically drained trying to run from you I would be twisting your tail in a knot,” Iruka grumbled as Kakashi carried him
past the bed and into his private bathing room.

“Kinky,” Kakashi grinned, “we can try that later when you’re more up to it.  I prefer silken rope but, well, we can use magic too.”
Kakashi put Iruka down with a grin, towering over the smaller man as Iruka grumped. Iruka noted absently that the alpha could go fluidly from wolf to human form and several variations in between.  His human form was flat out gorgeous, the silver haired man looking like one of those angels from the covers of books he had read.

“Pervert,” Iruka snarled, doubling up his fist and hitting the broader male on his oh so solid arm.  Iruka nursed his wounded knuckles, or would have had Kakashi not caught his fist and soothed the imagined bruises.  However, the alpha’s hands were quickly wandering and Iruka found himself being stripped of his clothes and helpfully scrubbed clean by those same gentle if not mostly perverted hands.

“Will you keep those hands where they belong,” Iruka yelped, smacking them away from a certain part which was protesting the lack of attention despite Iruka’s other head firmly telling it to stop being so desperate to get them hitched.

“I am,” Kakashi purred, running his hands down his mate’s back trying to calm the skittish man.

“Shouldn’t you be more serious if we’re getting married and all?” Iruka tried, hoping the big ‘M’ word would work on the alpha like the females of the village all claimed it did.

“Believe me,” Kakashi leered, “I intend to take my duty as your mate seriously and make sure you are satisfied with my performance in every way.”

“That’s not what I meant,” Iruka snapped.  He tried protesting again but it came out as more of a moan when Kakashi chose that moment to nibble on the back of his neck.

“Just submit to me,” Kakashi whispered in his ear, licking his way back to the nape of Iruka’s neck before biting down, drawing a strangled cry from Iruka’s throat as his body shuddered.

Kakashi’s hands were everywhere at once and they played Iruka’s body like a fine instrument, drawing out sounds that he had never heard himself make before.  If asked, Iruka would have said he wasn’t the one making those terrible, pleading whines for more.  He would make Kakashi stop, he would really bat those hands away! Oh hell, who was he kidding, he wanted the orgasm that Kakashi was promising.  He was a live and breathing man and oh my god do that again.

Kakashi would have smirked if he wasn’t so damn turned on by every single whimper, whine, and moan coming out of his pretty little mate’s mouth.  He managed to tear his mouth away from a pert nipple long enough to pick Iruka up and carry him to the bedroom, laying him gently on the bed, before going back to the fun task of attempting to devour him starting with his mouth.

Iruka whimpered as Kakashi proceeded to make him lose his mind, inhibitions, and general sense of self-preservation with one simple kiss.  Oh god the man could kiss.  He couldn’t decide if he was jealous or simply grateful to all the lovers Kakashi had practiced on, but Iruka was going to be damn sure that the only one Kakashi was practicing with from now on was him.

“Mine,” Iruka growled, gripping the silver hair and dragging Kakashi’s mouth away from his before proceeding to nibble on the alpha’s delectable neck.

“Yours,” Kakashi agreed panting, letting his mate have his way for a bit as Kakashi’s hands wandered down and gripped his prize.  Iruka bucked suddenly into the hand  that Kakashi wrapped around both of their cocks, stroking swiftly.  He was desperately aware of his stomach clenching tight as his whole body rocked at the edge of orgasm.

The two of them moved together, thrusting into Kakashi’s warm tight grip as the friction drove them over the edge.  Kakashi howled
as he came, his own semen mixing with Iruka’s and coating his mate with his scent.  He wrapped his arms around Iruka’s limp body, smiling as Iruka curled into him relaxed and momentarily satisfied.

“We aren’t done yet,” Kakashi grinned.

Iruka looked adorably confused so Kakashi proceeded to kiss him again, feeling his own cock rising and bumping against Iruka’s thigh.  He let his lips wander down the man’s body, scooping up the mixture of their cum to use as a lubricant and ease the passage of his finger into Iruka’s tight hole.

Iruka nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt the alpha’s finger pressing there, the sensation pleasant yet frightening.  He had a fairly good idea what the alpha had in mind and he parted his lips to protest when Kakashi’s warm tight, mouth closed down on his sensitive penis and sucked.  Iruka would later swear that the action literally drained him of all his higher brain functions.  It must have since he certainly did not protest the act that would tie him to this werewolf forever.

Kakashi worked slowly, savoring the body beneath him since the initial need to claim had been taken care of.  He worked to make sure that his mate was fully prepped, working up to three fingers into him, having sneakily grabbed some lotion and used that for extra lube.  Kakashi swore he was going to buy a gallon of good lube before the next sunset.  Possibly two, they would need more than one before the mating season ended if his pretty little mate kept making those noises.

Iruka nearly wailed when the alpha practically swallowed him whole while pumping a whole heck of a lot of fingers in and out of him.  He wanted to come, he wanted that bastard to quit with the foreplay and get to the main event already.  He arched off the bed as Kakashi’s fingers brushed against his prostate again, making him see stars.  Iruka now understood the tittering his friends had done in school every time the prostate was mentioned and he fully intended to beat them to a pulp for failing to mention how good it really felt.

Kakashi was getting desperate himself, his own penis so hard that it hurt every time something brushed against it.  He gave his mate once last lick before pulling out his fingers and positioning himself at the entrance to heaven.  The alpha carefully pushed in, desperately trying to go slow despite his every single instinct yelling at him to move faster.  He didn’t want to hurt Iruka, to frighten him during what was obviously his first time in bed with a man. Probably with anyone given the way he had smelled, untouched by any but Kakashi.  He wanted to howl, fuck him into oblivion, and claim him hard and fast but Kakashi forced himself to go slow.  So slow.

Iruka was panting with want, desperation, and not a little pain.  It hurt, he wouldn’t deny that, but it was almost an afterthought.  Kind of the background pain when you do something so exhilarating that the rush at the end outweighs the price you pay for it.  He could feel every single inch of the alpha’s hard length inside him and still wanted more.  He wanted Kakashi to move, to do something, anything to keep that rush of endorphins.  Experimentally, Iruka flexed his hips and heard the answering whine as Kakashi fought for control.  The rush of control and power was almost as heady as the feeling of Kakashi’s penis inside of him.

Kakashi was getting rather desperate.  If his wonderful, loving, oh god so trying mate didn’t quit making those noises or flexing his-
The world was lost as Iruka moved just right and Kakashi desperately drew back and slammed into him, claiming him again with a desperate howl.  He couldn’t have stopped his hips if he wanted to, fucking the mage beneath him with pure abandon, barely able to remember to pump Iruka’s penis with what he desperately hoped was finesse and not the clumsy, fumbling teenager he swore he had never been.

Iruka was nearly breathless, panting in desperate gasps of air as his world shattered and reformed in blinding whiteness.  He couldn’t see, he could barely hear, but oh he could feel.  Those thrusts kept brushing against the bundle of nerves inside just so perfectly, sending him higher and higher with each movement, each thrust, each blast of pure pleasure.

And then it was over in a shuddering rush that left him breathless, limp, and with a whimpering, panting alpha laying on his chest, shaky arms barely keeping Kakashi from crushing the smaller man under his heavy weight.  Kakashi managed to drag enough strength from somewhere to fall to the side, taking Iruka with him, curling him carefully into his arms and dragging the sheet over the top of them.  Iruka decided that the effort of protesting wasn’t worth the energy, not to mention he was really, truly comfortable.  Iruka closed his eyes, breathing in the alpha’s warm, soothing scent and drifting into sleep.  Kakashi smiled as he followed his mate into a much needed nap.
