I woke up at 3:30 this morning with crippling cramps and diarrhea. The nurse practitioner at the cheap walk-in clinic said it's probably mild IBS, and prescribed an anti-spasmodic. Ooh, a letter! I can't wait!

I first heard of IBS a couple years ago, and now it seems like it's everywhere. Everyone's just too damn keyed up all the time.

Totally. Now that I've learned more about it, I think I had a flare-up two summers ago when Aaron was on deployment and I was working the worst job ever while trying to buy a house on the other side of the country. But at the time I thought IBS was just a poop thing, and now I know it's the times you can't poop that really suck.

I think an IBS zine is an awesome idea, considering how widely misunderstood the condition is. Let me know if you want submissions.
