Calling all Canadians...

I'm going to be in Canada this December returning kusanivy's dressform and working with viewpoints on some costumes for Ohayocon. I emplore any fellow friendly Canadians to join the 'Adopt an American' campaign while I'm up, since during that time viewpoints is going to have a special houseguest for a week. If there a few someones who can give me crash space for a day or ( Read more... )

Oh hey! I live pretty close to the downtown core, and I have much space here. That's near the end of my semester, so I may be rather busy, but you're more than welcome to use the futon for crash space~

Oh, I guess I should mention... parking is 5-6 a night at my building, and we have a cat that periodically spazzes out and tears around the apartment for no reason. Though if you come and she's in heat, she'll do nothing but hit on you. ^^;

I think I could afford the parking, and I have absolutely no problems with cats so long as I don't have to live with them long term...kind of the same way I feel about kids. *grins* I really appreciate it! It will be fun to hang out, and I promise not to bother you if you need to study, unless I can help in any way. ^.^

She's little, she's cute, and she's black in an apartment of white walls and wood floors so it's easy to see her coming.

Unless you have a magical method of cutting my painting time in half... methinks that's ok. ^^;

Come stay with me! Kitchener's not as exciting as Toronto, but the parking is free and I can install you in my sewing room. You might have to forgive me hiding away to study for a while, but it just means you can have free reign over the sewing room.

Seriously, stay for two or three or four days, or a week or whatever. It'll be awesome to have you. ^_^

Excellent! I'm pretty sure I pass through Kitchener on the 401 on the way into Toronto, so I should be able to find my way back, and then we can geek about sewing stuff together. Thanks a bunch! ^.^

Yup, and I'm about 5 minutes off the 401, so I'm really easy to find. I might pick your brain for steampunk design ideas while you're here; I have a pile of fabric just waiting to become a steampunk costume.

You're welcome to stay here as long as you want. I never sleep in my room. I only grab clothing out of it.

I appreciate the offer, but I think you're a bit far from Canada. *grins* Though I'm going to be in Edwardsville for a week here coming up...are you going to be around? Its been a long time since I've gotten to see you!
